Our flight was delayed so I emailed the hotel to let them know. When we arrived 8 hours later than expected, they were very surprised to see us. I noted our reservation was in the 'no show' pile. It then took quite some time to allocate us a room. The room was ok but furniture was a bit shabby. The bed was comfortable and nice view.

Ended up staying here for a conference I attended nearby at the University. I arrived early and left my luggage there and went for a walk. When I got back the check in process was very quick and efficient and was given my access card (which is used in the lifts and for the room). The lifts are very small, but function well. I only had one issue that when I plugged in my charger the power tripped. I called reception and they turned it back on and had no issues the rest of the stay. The hotel is a little out of the way of everything (nothing in terms of restaurants nearby) but the room very a reasonable size, the bed comfortable, the fridge working and the bathroom had a shower. They came and cleaned the rooms every day and made the bed.. The price was reasonable as well. The only downside was that between 3pm and 7pm (or thereabouts) the internet speed was deadly slow. After / before that it was great with no issues. I had breakfast downstairs twice during my stay (ala carte). The food was good (but sometimes took a little long to arrive). Overall would stay again if doing something in the area.

Location was perfect for a business trip at the University of Auckland. The location was within walking distance to downtown, so access to restaurants, supermarket was very easy.|We walked mainly, but the hotel was not far away from the bus stop either.|The view from the room was superb. I got the corner room facing the train station.|The room was a bit old, but it was clean. The service was perfect. Staff were very polite and super helpful. They provided us with extra dishes or cutlery when we needed. |Very fast check in and check out.

Great location for Spark Arena and easy access to nearby attractions. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was perfect for our family and provided plenty of space and comfort. Having a Lime scooter parking spot right out the front was also a great bonus and made getting around the city even easier. The only area that could be improved was the kitchenette. While it included a dining table, it was missing some basic essentials such as dishwashing liquid, a dish brush, a dishcloth, and a tea towel. The kitchenware was also quite limited, with only two dinner plates, two glasses, two cups, two spoons, one knife, and one fork provided. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend it. A few extra kitchen amenities would make the experience even better. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Overall is good and the staff is very friendly. It’s just the old type hotel but enough for people to take a rest.

Came for a trip to work and enjoy, wasn’t expecting top tier hotel however was incredibly dated, smelt funky and old very un clean. Terrible views, awful parking spots and frankly not worth the little money I paid. Tried to do some work on my laptop to find their “wifi” wont load a single thing. Does not function whatsoever and could not do anything, running a 1MB download speed felt like ancient wifi from when I was a kid. They would only refund the following nights and not the one I checked in for 20 minutes ago, telling me I already checked in. As if I could know it would be this way previous to checking in. Will happily take review down if the hotel rightfully refunds my first night, until then its here to stay.

Stayed here with our teenage son. I'm not sure we would stay here again as the Cons outweighed the Pros. Pro's - great location, easy walk to everything in Auckland CBD, price wasnt too bad. Con's - limited parking, which cost $30 per day, very loud, could hear other people in hotel having showers etc and traffic/people outside, very soft uncomfortable beds, room decor was quite dated, marks on walls in bedroom and bathroom.

Check In was easy, parking was available on site. The reception staff were lovely and efficient. The room however was gross. It was extremely unclean, the carpet was stained, had an old chip under the desk. The fridge was dirty and the towels had holes and hairs on, not to mention the stains. It was so run down that it felt like a hostel rather than a hotel. Due to the cleanliness of the room we opted to eat elsewhere. Will absolutely not stay again. Such a shame.
