My upgraded room is perfect, the girl I invited eventually chose to sleep in the room with me. The best receptionist is the🇳🇵who serves from Friday to Monday, he's the only qualified receptionist here, he's the only one with experience in Emirates. The location is also perfect. The lobby could look more beautiful. The main breakfast room is lovely. I am going to miss all of you. One of the best things that happened in my residence in Auckland ❤️

Loved my stay. Stayed here for 1 night. Nice cheap price. Paid $35 for 1 night of parking which is alright for central auckland. Checked in and got told we were getting a free upgrade which was awesome. On floor 14 with amazing views of the sky tower. On check out they let us leave our car in the parking for an extra 2 hours as well which was awesome. Nice room, lovely staff. Overall a great stay will definitely be back.

Just for a short few hours stay for next day flight. The bed is too bouncy and the towel doest look clean. The location is good near the airport and have a cafe opposite.

The Edit is super central, clean and the two men at reception have been so incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. After hearing of our trip’s unexpected turn, they very graciously upgraded our room and did everything they could to ensure our return to the hotel was comfortable. Didn’t get to catch you to say a final thank you as someone else was working the front desk the day we checked out unfortunately

I stay here every week for work, and it has become a home away from home. The location is excellent - very central and within 5mins walking distance of SkyCity, plenty of eateries and a supermarket. It’s also directly across the road from the soon-to-open Te Waihorotiu light rail station, which will make the location even more convenient. Rafiq, the evening manager deserves a special mention. He always greets me by name and is consistently friendly, welcoming and professional. It’s the best service I’ve experienced during my decades of hotel stays, and his personal touch makes a real difference when you’re staying away from home regularly. The next day, the morning manager wishes me a great day, and looks forward to seeing me again the following week. The hotel is in a refurbished older building, so although it’s not a five-star property, the rooms are appointed with tea and coffee facilities, small fridge, microwave, and the beds are very comfortable. Some of the more affordable rooms are showing a little more wear and tear, but the refurbished rooms are stylish. As with many older buildings in central Auckland, it can be a little noisy, particularly at night. If you’re a light sleeper, I recommend packing earplugs. And on the cooler evenings, bring warm pyjamas as not all rooms have extra blankets. Overall, for a either a one-off or a regular stay, I recommend Edit. The location, comfortable rooms, great value compared to surrounding accommodation, and especially the outstanding service from Rafiq, make it a place I’m happy to return to every week. Great location, the best value hotel at the center of Auckland CBD! The room was spacious and had everything we needed, even kitchenette. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. Chef Parmila was very nice and cooked good hearty breakfast for us. We would definitely stay here next time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Edit Auckland Central! The location is fantastic — just a 10-minute walk to the ferry terminal, with Woolworths next door, great restaurants like Hazy Tiger and Culprit nearby, plenty of bars, parks within walking distance, and the Sky Tower just around the corner. The hot buffet breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced — the perfect way to fuel up before a day of exploring Auckland, Waiheke, or Rangitoto. A special thank you to Chef Parmila for the delicious breakfasts and for helping us start each day ready for our adventures! A great choice for a short stay and a convenient base for exploring Auckland. We’d happily stay again!

One night stay, we were upgraded for free. The room was newly decorated. Had stayed here previously so very nice to see the upgrade. The power wasn't on, but easily fixed when we went back to reception. The amenities were basic, no flannels. For a one night stay in Auckland CBD the price was right.
