For dining, the hotel itself has Trivet, its signature restaurant, plus Kureta for Japanese teppan, and Forum, a lobby bar with coffee and cocktails. Nearby, you can walk to Ichiban Yakatori Restaurant, Mo's Bar, Ronnie's Cafe & Bakery, and T2 Tea, all within a few minutes. Queen Street, a short walk away, is lined with more casual spots. For a special meal, Kureta offers a chef-led omakase experience right in the hotel.
You are in the heart of Auckland's CBD, with Queen Street and the Britomart Transport Centre just steps away. The Sky Tower is a 5-minute walk, and Albert Park is 7 minutes away, offering green space in the city. The waterfront and ferry terminal are close, making it easy to reach the harbor. The hotel's own dining includes Trivet, Kureta, and Forum Bar, so you have options right at hand. It's a central, walkable area for exploring the city's core.
From Auckland Airport, a taxi or ride-share takes about 20-25 minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel is also near Sky City Coach Terminal, a convenient drop-off point for airport shuttles. If arriving by train, Britomart Transport Centre is a short walk away, and the hotel is close to Waitematā Station. From there, it is less than a 10-minute walk to the hotel. The hotel's central location on Albert Street makes it easy to find once you are in the city center.
For an evening out, start at the hotel's own Forum Bar for cocktails, or book a seat at Kureta, its Japanese teppan restaurant. A short 5-minute walk takes you to Sky Tower, where you can enjoy city views. Albert Park is a 7-minute walk for a relaxed stroll, and Victoria Park is 12 minutes away. For a livelier scene, Queen Street is right nearby, and Silo Park, a 13-minute walk, often has waterfront activity. The hotel's Trivet restaurant also offers dinner if you prefer to stay in.
You'll be well placed for exploring Auckland from this central spot. The Sky Tower is a 5-minute walk away, with Unleashed by Wētā Workshop just 6 minutes on foot. Albert Park and the Auckland Art Gallery are also close, at 7 and 8 minutes' walk respectively. You can reach Victoria Park in 12 minutes and Silo Park in 13, with Auckland Domain a 22-minute stroll. For the Auckland Zoo, which is 4.6 km away, you'll need a taxi or ride-hailing service to get there. The city's main sights are within easy walking distance, making this a convenient starting point.
