The location cannot be better, which is the reason that we chose this hotel. It is modern with excellent security. The rooms leave much to be desired however. There is virtually no storage space - only 1 usable drawer, A second drawer is taken up entirely by a safe. A large shelf unit for coffee service takes up a quarter of one wall, and a tall vertical closet seems to serve no purpose whatsoever. The bathroom also offers no space to set things down. On the plus side, the bed is very comfortable, the pillows are fantastic, and we got a good night’s sleep. Reception and room service are friendly and efficient.

We had a fabulous stay at MSocial! I am very glad that I booked this hotel. It is sort of a cross between a luxury hotel and one of those new, trying to be hip hotels, (which I don’t enjoy) and it could do with a freshen up in terms of painting in the halls and rooms, but they seem to have kept the important things that make it a lovely stay. The rooms are lovely, and well laid out. The location is perfect; I wouldn’t have wanted to stay in any other part of Auckland. The staff were warm and welcoming. We left our bags as we arrived early and when we came back at check-in, they had been delivered to our room, and even my coat had been hung up! There are great amenities in the rooms, full-size mini milk in the fridge, rather than the little thumb size capsules, and a pod coffee machine. Plentiful charging outlets and a lovely little Radio/charging station. The beds were very comfortable, probably the softest that I experienced in my stay in New Zealand, which isn’t my preference but I had a wonderful sleep. I also really loved the layout of the bathroom, it really works! The only things I could pick at, is that the toilet roll holder is a little bit far from the toilet, and I was mindful that the Office building across the road (which obscures the harbour view, although it’s still a wonderful view), can see straight into the hotel room rooms. This is not the fault of the hotel at all, and would not impact me staying here again, it is just something to note.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for four nights after completing a trans Pacific cruise. We couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to stay here. I found this hotel through google and decided to take a chance based reviews and location. That was the best decision we made. This hotel is absolutely beautiful in a perfect location right on the water. The hotel decor and vibe is the best. The location couldn't have been better. It' s right across from the ferry and walking distance to everything we wanted to do. If ever in the area, we will definitely stay here again.

First time in this modern hotel. The views are amazing. My only complaint about the roons is that the bed are too soft for our backs. The service by the staff as well as the breakfast and bar are very good and with a 20%off if you charge the costs to your room. Overall very good experience. Thanks a lot.

We stayed twice at the great modern hotel. Location is excellent, across the restaurants and ferry’s in the wharf. |It has a great restaurant and the rooms are very modern. |Van, at front desk, was instrumental in making both our stays fantastic. When we first checked in he offered many services and when he realized my birthday was the day before, he sent some sweets and a card. Very professional and friendly. |A wonderful stay in a nice city.

Great location, you can walk anywhere. Staff are knowledgeable and give great recommendations to place to eat. Breakfast is well stock and has gluten free options if you ask.

I'm a travel agent, and I stayed here this past winter on my work trip. M Social is the most popular hotel my agency sells, and after seeing the location and the restaurant/bar, I can see why! It definitely has all the comforts of a major hotel, with a slightly more boutique feel. I really enjoyed the gym and the area around the hotel, as well as the spread for breakfast!

Had such a wonderful stay cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful service and amenities. Firstly I was able to check in early and the room was amazing. View spectacular and everything very clean and well presented. Ordered some Korean fried chicken and it was legitimately the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. All in all a wonderful overnight stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend.
