First time at this location and they were superb. Lorraine was phenomenal, so kind and helpful the length of our trip. The only reason for the 4 star for rooms is it is definitely older and has some wear and tear showing but we enjoyed it so much we have already booked again for November. BTW the location was terrific and so walkable to so many things. Thanks DTS Austin! 🤘

I have to say this was the best experience I’ve had while staying at a hotel and the main reason why I will be coming back. Manager Chris is the example of what service should be! We were checking out, my wife and I and today was a little chilly out! We were late to breakfast and the main I wanted was a coffee. By the time I went downstairs unfortunately the coffee was being cleaned up, my fault per usual. I went outside to ask if any coffee shops were close by and Chris told me Starbucks! Unfortunately I’m a little older and didn’t have the bandwidth to walk. I went upstairs and a few minutes later I came down to get a drink in the market! Well Chris comes running inside with a coffee in hand from Starbucks! He went out of his way, spent his own money, and got me a coffee! I tried to pay him back but he wouldn’t let me! Now that is what service should be! I was so shocked that someone would do this for me! I will be back! I will be using valet because I know the service they provide

I had a great experience at Marriott. The Brandon was very friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. When I walked in, they greeted he warmly and even held the door open for me. It was a small gesture, but it made a great first impression. His kindness and professionalism really stood out. Thank you for making me feel so welcome!

The location of the hotel is exceptional. It’s close to the capital and within walking distance of all of the museums and great restaurants. Also, the staff is phenomenal. They were all extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also great!

The stay was good. Rooms were satisfactory. Only 2 things thay were an issue. 1. Only 1 person working the front desk made getting things hard but the lady tried her best so not too mad about this. 2. On check in I told the lady that we would not be having a vehicle. I was still charged for a parking for 2 days. I called to tell them and reiterated that we didnt have a vehicle and they said "there is no way to prove you said that" 🤔 excuse me well why didnt you verify i had one upon check out??. So I was charged $98 for parking plus $8.08 in sales tax. They issued a refund for parking but then didnt for the tax they charged me. Didn't even say sorry just hung up. Disappointing because im a Diamond Reserve member. I guess this status doesn't matter to this establishment.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. Additionally, the location is prime as it's within walking distance of the UAT Campus, and downtown Austin. After my stay, I reached out to the management with a concern, and I was impressed by how promptly and professionally they handled it. They took the matter seriously, kept me informed, and conducted a thorough follow-up. I really appreciated the time and care they took to address my concerns, and their professionalism gave me confidence in their commitment to their guests. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would happily stay here again the next time I'm in Austin. The complimentary warm cookie was right out of the oven each night, it was delicious!

I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Front Office Manager Mr. Corey Becon and his outstanding staff at DoubleTree for the care and professionalism they showed my family during our stay from May 28–29. We were in town celebrating my sister’s military retirement, and unfortunately, everything that could have gone wrong that weekend seemed to happen. A few members of my aging family experienced some mishaps, from one uncle damaging his car while trying to park to an aunt falling in her room. None of these situations were the hotel’s fault, but the way the staff responded made all the difference. Mr. Becon and his team were pleasant, accommodating, understanding, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. Their patience and customer service helped ease a stressful weekend and allowed our family to still focus on celebrating such an important milestone. This was some of the best customer service we have received in the States in a long time. Thank you again to Mr. Becon and the DoubleTree staff for going above and beyond for our family.

I absolutely love staying at this Doubletree. great rooms, a fantastic location, and genuinely some of the best service I’ve ever had at a hotel. Huge shoutout to Allison at the front desk. She was incredible. She was accommodating, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make the stay great. Service like that is exactly why this is my hotel of choice in Austin. If you’re looking for a place to stay in downtown Austin, this is one of those hidden gems you’ll be very happy you found. 10/10 every time.
