(This actually happened in April of 2025, sorry I did not give review sooner) My father disappeared during our vacation in Thailand. I am really really thankful for the staff at this hotel for helping me find him! I was travelling from the United States with my dad in Bangkok for vacation. We had gone on a walk though the city. We were going through Lumpini Park, and we got separated. I looked around the park and could not find him. I kept looking and still could not find him. Hours passed and I could not find him. We did not have cell phone chips. I was really getting worried. I went back to the hotel to see if he had gone back there. There I talked to the staff at the hotel, to see if they could help me. They said they had not seen him but they will help me find him. They went with me back to the park in a car they provided and helped me talk to the security and police. I did not know any Thai. The hotel really went above and beyond in helping me. 6 hours had passed since I had seen my father. My father finally made contact to our family back home and they communicated with me so I was able to get in contact with him and we reunited. But I am so happy with this hotel and its staff. Fantastic hotel. Well located near Silom. Staff here are wonderful and amazing. Thank you to all the amazing staff who has make my stay throughout the years since 2017 wonderful especially May, Beuz and Mr Noom who has always been a familiar friendly face at the hotel entrance. Always nice to see Mr Noom and other familiar faces in the hotel. Sad that the hotel will be closed for a year. But I hope once renovation is done. I will be back and hope to see everyone again. Feels homely to be in Bandara Suites Silom Bangkok!

The hotel staff provided excellent service. Although they didn’t speak Japanese, their sincere effort to listen carefully won me over. I did find it inconvenient that the air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted very well. As for the bathroom, water from the shower sometimes splashed onto the sink area. I recommend using a shower curtain or something similar to block it. I will definitely stay here again next time. Thanks to you, I had a wonderful three-day trip. Thank you very much!

I just obtained an update, Bandara in BKK (formerly Chin House) is no more, the newly renovated hotel “Narrative Bangkok” is expected to open around June 2027 according to the Bandara Director of Sales: Shanya Termsinwanich (Kic)

Took my family with to Thailand to celebrate my birthday, stayed and Bandara and LOVED IT. Staff was great and so kind. Room was huge had the family residence suite with balcony. Area around hotel very nice and clean. All the malls not a far grab ride away. Just walking distance up the street try “The Spotted Pig” great Mexican food. Doing your laundry at the hotel is a bit pricey. I washed 2 times not paying attention it adds up. Just be mindful. When we come back we are staying at Bandara again.

Fantastic hotel, huge rooms ( we had a 2x bed suite ) for our family of four. Location is great, 10mins walk from MRT and BTS. Lots of shops and food around. Lumpini park around the corner. Staff are extremely nice and polite, we all felt like royalty, which I and not a fan of because its harder when you get back home to reality :). Breakfast was good and pool was excellent.

Lobby looks very nice and modern, but the rooms were a little outdated/old. It was still a very great place to stay at, and I enjoyed it a lot. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, and it was very spacious. The master bedroom even had its own door with a doorbell! Living space area was huge with a couch and dining table with huge windows. The location is amazing! They have security on the lot to keep traffic flowing. The hotel has its own personal tuktuk which I think would take you to a nearby BTS? We never had to use it because we can walk right outside the doors and there was food/shopping/salons so close by. So we did plenty of walking in the area, and still wasn’t able to see it all. We were there during the earthquake! And the staff were very friendly and caring to help me and my mom run down the stairs. Love this place!

The furniture and room are a bit outdated..the bathroom need a renovation too. Some lights not working and no remote for the aircon, so should wake up at night to switch off...but the view from the room is superb... staff there are so nice, the reception has a lovely decor and also their pool is well.located and great view...a big thx to Katai at the pool bar for her professionalism, good customer service and her good spirit. She always has that smile on her face to welcome you. Have not tried the breakfast yet coz i just check in today itself. Will keep u updated
