Booked through Agoda for our Thailand trip, but the room was very different from the pictures. The room felt old and not well-maintained. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the hallway, and water was dripping from the ceiling. The only positive was the staff. They were kind, polite, friendly, and helpful whenever we raised our concerns. Unfortunately, the actual condition of the hotel did not match what was shown online. Definitely not what we expected.

Urgent need to renovation all accommodation as I checked 3 rooms - all rooms same. So, I felt like the entire hotel need to be renovated. Staffs should trained more properly. Breakfast menu is poor. Location is very good. Overall - it's okay for what I paid for; but as it's located in vibrant area - I wouldn't mind to pay little high it was well maintained. Good luck.

Our experience at this hotel was absolutely horrific and, honestly, one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. There were cockroaches all over the premises, and our room had them everywhere — on the bed, on the furniture, in different corners, and of all sizes, from very small to large. The room was extremely dirty and unhygienic. The bedsheets were visibly dirty, the towels were dirty, and there was an unpleasant smell throughout the room. Nothing felt properly cleaned or maintained. However, the most serious and disturbing part of our stay was that we discovered approximately 4,000 THB missing from our bags. We strongly suspected that this happened during housekeeping, and we immediately informed the reception. Unfortunately, the receptionist did not provide any meaningful assistance and simply told us that we would have to make a police complaint. We had only two nights remaining before leaving Thailand, and because of our travel schedule, we were unable to go through the police complaint process at that time. What made the situation even more worrying was that we could not be certain whether only 4,000 THB was missing or whether other belongings had also been taken. Between the severe cockroach infestation, dirty linens and towels, unpleasant smell, poor hygiene, and the extremely concerning incident involving money missing from our room, this was by far one of the dirtiest and most uncomfortable hotel experiences we have ever had. We would strongly urge the management to take the hygiene, housekeeping, room security, and guest-safety issues seriously.

My recent stay at this hotel was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hospitality experiences I have ever had.|The issues began immediately upon check-in when I discovered a lizard in my room. When I requested a room change, I was initially offered a smoking room—despite clearly informing the staff that I do not smoke and have a severe allergy. It took a prolonged and frustrating argument before I was finally moved to a somewhat acceptable room.|Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. The overall condition of the property is extremely poor—rooms are visibly unclean, with broken flooring and ceilings, and a persistent unpleasant odor coming from the windows and curtains. Bathrooms are unhygienic, with mosquitoes and even cockroaches easily noticeable. The bed linens and towels were old, stained, and clearly not maintained to any reasonable standard.|The service was equally disappointing. Staff responses were consistently dismissive, often limited to “we are just working here” and redirecting concerns to a manager who was either unavailable or equally unhelpful when present. There was a complete lack of accountability and basic customer care.|Overall, this experience reflects a serious failure in hygiene, maintenance, and service standards. I would strongly caution others before considering a stay here.

I had high hopes for this hotel because of its excellent location, but unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. The hallways were dirty and poorly maintained, and I noticed lots of small cockroaches around the property, which was extremely unpleasant. The room was also far from clean. There was visible mold in several areas, and the overall condition of the room made it difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed during my stay. Cleanliness and hygiene should be a basic priority for any hotel, and unfortunately, this property did not meet that standard. The only major positive is the location. It is very convenient, with plenty of clubs, bars, 7-Eleven stores, restaurants, shops, and a mall nearby. If location is your main priority, then this hotel is in a very convenient area. However, a good location cannot make up for poor cleanliness and hygiene. Seeing cockroaches and mold during a hotel stay is simply unacceptable. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall condition of the property. Great location, but unfortunately the cleanliness and hygiene were a major letdown. I would not choose to stay here again unless these issues are properly addressed.

The hotel rooms are dirty and have an unpleasant, musty smell. The quality is extremely poor and definitely not worth the price they charge. The only positive thing about this hotel is its location. To make matters worse, you have to carry your own luggage all the way to your room, with no proper assistance. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel, especially considering the price they charge.

My stay at Le Fenix Sukhumvit Hotel was extremely disappointing. The room I was given on the 6th floor was in unacceptable condition. The bed sheets had visible stains that appeared to be old blood and were clearly not properly cleaned. After sleeping in the bed, my skin became very itchy, which made me seriously question the hotel's hygiene standards. The room had a strong unpleasant smell, the hot water did not work, the wardrobe door was broken, and the air conditioner was extremely noisy, making it very difficult to sleep. I politely asked to change my room, but my request was refused without any reasonable solution. Because of these issues, I decided to leave the hotel and book another hotel at my own expense. This hotel was not worth the money I paid. It did not meet even the basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, or customer service. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, and I hope the management takes immediate action to improve these serious problems.

I stayed in Room 708 for 3 days on a business trip and couldn't wait to leave. This place is run-down, misleading, and a total health hazard. A hole in the ceiling of the entryway was dripping water directly onto the inner door handle. The keycard constantly failed, making it a nightmare just to use the elevator and get into the room. The mattress underneath the sheets was covered in old, deep yellow stains. The AC vents were caked in thick black dust, shower towels were filthy, and the room reeked of mold. Service is lazy and indifferent. Night staff told me to wait until morning to use the microwave for my food, but morning staff claimed it was "broken" right next to their active breakfast buffet, forcing me to throw my meal away. To top it off, they charged me a 100 Baht late check-out fee after surviving three nights in a disgusting room. The photos online are a lie and staff do not care. Avoid at all costs.
