Ayden who checked me in is exceptional. My flight was severely delayed and I arrived at 3am exhausted and hungry. He really went above and beyond and told me if they didn’t take my credit card that he was going to lend me his own cash! Junior was also just such a great receptionist when I had to change rooms! I personally found none of the issues stated a thing. But I have custom made ear plugs which I think every traveler should not live without!The location is 8 minute walk to BTS, one train stop away from iconsiam, 10 minutes bts away from all the top five star hotels in Bangkok, and it’s located in a quiet, authentic Thai neighborhood where all the locals smile at me and say hi, next to insanely gorgeous cafes springing out of nowhere like old school speciality cafe and gorgeous food like Jeera Kitchen. Pricing is unbeatable at 15usd per night! I’ve stayed in countless hotels inside Bangkok and it’s just overwhelming and I never enjoyed it and would always leave Bangkok within a day or two before heading to the beach. this is the first time I am really enjoying Bangkok and actually wanting to do more than just a couple days! To me this authentic experience and quiet neighborhood beats busy streets of Bangkok anytime!

I had a wonderful stay at Palette The Ex Capital Hotel Bangkok. The overall experience was excellent, and the hotel offers great value for money. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. There are also several 7-Eleven stores nearby, making it very convenient to buy snacks, drinks, or any daily necessities. A special highlight was that a movie crew happened to be filming at the hotel on the day I checked in. It was a unique and memorable experience that made my trip even more interesting. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They were always willing to assist with any questions and made me feel comfortable during my stay. Overall, this is a clean, affordable, and convenient hotel with excellent service. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok and highly recommend it to other travelers. 😊✨🏨

Overall, it was a great stay! The room was comfortable and the environment.Their service was excellent. They were very friendly, helpful, and always attentive to our needs. They really went the extra mile to make sure we had a good experience.Really appreciate their effort. Will definitely come back again!

One of the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We had 2 rooms. My friend’s room had a gutter smell. It was changed next day. Bathroom drain was really bad that every time you take shower there will be 2 inches of water in bathroom and you could slip any second. Rooms were ok. We took balcony rooms but weren’t allowed to smoke or drink on the balcony at all. There is a big gutter in front of the hotel as well. To leave your bags with them for little bit you have to pay 300 Thai bath

Don’t let the reviews fool you. They offer drinks or reduction in price if you give a 5 star rating (you can see that because they have a lot of recent 5 star reviews but without any written comments). We stayed for 3 nights, but the shower head was not working, the sink was not a good design and made the whole bathroom wet, our card for the room had to be reactivated every day (walked back and forth) and they wanted us to pay 900 bath extra for a small stain on the bedding. Staff doesn’t speak English. They refused us offering to wash it ourselves because it was definitely not a heavy stain but they treated it like we trashed the whole room. The location is in a more rural area and you need to Grab or take the BTS to see the big things (8 min walk). You can get better options closer in the center to spare yourself the headaches.

Booked Superior Double with City View but gotten a back alley view from 2nd floor instead. And balcony smell of Marijuana! Bathroom will flood after shower. Called the front desk and they said they are fully booked. How is that become my problem?! Wrote in for requesting a vase upon booking but gotten NO reply. Front desk has bad attitude with heavy Thai accent. Location is horrible. Sound proofing is horrible. No lift. Has to use stairs behind and they didn't even care to bring you to get to the stairs! 2 staffs sat at front desk instead doing nothing.

The stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was dirty, dark, and very depressing, with an overall grey and unwelcoming atmosphere. The location is awful, and the surrounding area feels unsafe, especially at night, making it uncomfortable to walk outside after dark. The bathroom was one of the worst parts of the room: the toilet is awkwardly exposed, there is no proper shower partition, and every time we showered the entire bathroom ended up flooded. To make things worse, the dehumidifier/extractor was not working, so the bathroom stayed wet and unpleasant the whole time. This hotel was absolutely not worth the money, and I would not stay here again.

I would honestly rate this hotel a 0 star if its possible. The walls are thin, people are smoking in their rooms (sometimes illegal substances), playing loud music, podcast late into the night, drinking alcohol in the lobby, one staff was sleeping at the counter at around 10pm… the list of bad things goes on, the most annoying thing was people just banging their room doors shut which can be heard VERY LOUDLY through the echos of the corridors - even at 3am, 5am etc. For 3 nights, I didnt have any uninterrupted rest at all. The only saving grace was there’s a laundrette within 5 min walk from the hotel. Overall would not recommend at all!
