Nice location , outside of the hotel you can find a lot of markets to buy some quick snack or water . And it's close to a great street where u can take a stroll and enjoy some good shops . The rooms are good but the furniture is quite old but it has everything you need , including iron . The staff on the other hand is very helpfull .

This is NOT a 4 or 4.5 star hotel. This is a 3 star (as much), hotel is old, smells horrible like a very old grandma house mix with cigarettes, the rooms are almost falling apart and has a look of like the 70s. The restroom is so old, the bath was making noise, same when you turn on the light or the area to watch your hands. The carpet had multiple stains and the AC was not functioning properly. They got me with the photos, lower price and the location. The staff is nonexistent, only one person at the check in during our full stay. I have to say, I give this hotel a 3 star and is for the location because is perfect, besides that… what a horrible stay! Don’t get fooled, you have been warned.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shopping within walking distance. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel is a bit older, but it’s well maintained and didn’t affect my overall experience. If you’re looking for a convenient place to stay in a great location, I’d definitely recommend it.

Hotel hs convenient for location. Nearby tourist attractions, metro, many shops and restaurants. Room is ok. Comfortable to stay. Big bathroom with bath tub. Refrigerator, electric kettle, tea, coffee. We had indoor window so it's not noisy but also not much cooling. And minus point is we could hear our next door talk and his snoring... Not so ideal for quiet room. Breakfast is good, many choices. Fresh noodles and wonton soup. Also have good cheese selection. Staffs were kind , some speak good English.

I had a fantastic time staying at the Guo Ji Yi Yuan Hotel. The location was perfect — close to many great attractions, shops, and restaurants, making it easy to explore Beijing. The room was absolutely gorgeous — spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing!

I'm going against the grain here and saying we 100% enjoyed our stay here! Staff are really polite and helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily, or if you don't want it cleaned just pop the do not disturb sign on your door. The other reviews are right when they say the rooms are a bit outdated, but at the end of the day it's clean, comfortable and convenient. Only Chinese tv works so bring a hard drive with movies etc if you're into watching tv. We were gone all day every day only being here to sleep so it suited us perfectly. Nice big comfortable bed. Highly urge you to add the buffet breakfast onto your room cost, it is well worth it and filled us up for a day of exploring. Mixture of Chinese style food as well as western food. Wangfujing pedestrian street is right across the road. Highly recommend going for a walk down there as the sun is setting.. it comes to life with street performances. Convenience store is just a few shops away, and plenty of eating places around too. So many places to explore by foot from the hotel. Exploring further is SUPER easy with the DiDi app.. drivers pull right into the hotel entrance to pick you up and drop you off. People do sometimes approach you outside of the hotel offering their service to drive you - turn them down and use DiDi.. much safer.

Good location. It’s near to wangfujing pedestrian street and alot of stores nearby too. They will allow you to check in early if there’s room available. For the price, it’s considered great value.

I stayed at this hotel for an entire week and I had a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly, helpful, polite, and diligent - as you would expect in Beijing. My room was cleaned every day like clockwork, fresh water, sheets, towels etc. I had a king room and it was quite large (with a desk, chair, bed, minifridge, full bath) and enough space for me to lay out my clothes etc. The location is close to three subway stations so its convenient for going in various directions around the city and its right next to the Pedestrian Street (Wangfujing). You can easily walk to the Forbidden City, Tienamen, and its two subway stops from Qianmen market street. I also walked to the Temple of Heaven which was about a 45 minute - 1 hour walk.
