The only positive thing is the amazing staff that are worth the 5*. But as for the hotel it self…Hilton it’s time for renovation. 5* hotel without a bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast choice was poor. No Hilton for me.

What started as a short two-night stay at DoubleTree Bogotá Parque 93 turned into five nights, mainly because of the wonderful team at the hotel. There was a small issue with my original room at check-in, but Carlos, the Front Office Manager, handled it quickly and professionally, making sure I was taken care of. Once settled, I was very pleased with the room. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and the sheets and pillowcases were excellent. I had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in quite a while. The restaurant and bar staff were definitely one of the highlights of my stay. Andrés, Nuri, and Stiven worked so well together and brought a level of warmth and service that really stood out. Stiven especially has a great personality and made the experience fun. I truly hope he gets the opportunity to work on a cruise ship one day, because he would be a natural fit and would do very well. Alexander, the Captain in the restaurant, also made a great impression. He was attentive, welcoming, and clearly made an effort to ensure guests were enjoying themselves. What impressed me most was seeing that he treated every guest with that same care and attention. At the front desk, Alejandra was calm, professional, and efficient. She may have a more reserved personality, but she clearly knows what she is doing and handles her work with confidence. Amelia was another standout. I am not exactly sure of her role, but she was often visible throughout the hotel, always pleasant, and whenever I casually mentioned something I needed, she made sure it was followed up on. By the end of my stay, the hotel felt less like just another stop and more like a place where the staff genuinely cared. DoubleTree Bogotá Parque 93 is very fortunate to have this team, and honestly, other hotels in Colombia would be lucky to have employees like these.

Spend 5 days and 4 nights here... and I loved it. Staff is friendly. The entire space is extra clean and smells so good. The gym and the pool.... muah...chef's kiss 💋. Ps: If you eat the snacks and drink the items in the mini refrigerator in your room, you'll have to pay for them when checking out which can be a bit expensive. However, it doesn't take away from the quality and beauty of the hotel. I really really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend 👌 *Just realize I didn't take any pics of my room....but it was absolutely beautiful and clean just like the rest of the hotel.

Great hotel located just a few blocks away from Parque 93. Rooms are large and comfortable (large windows). Has a spa, indoor pool and gym. A bar with life entertainment Wednesday and Thursdays and good snack food. Great to watch the world cup. What impressed me the most was the staff. From the front desk to the bar attendants to the breakfast servers everyone cared and made you feel at home.

Stayed at the Property for couple of nights this week. Construction was going on at the Top floor that house the Gym & Pool. Pool Temperature was great - Gym had couple of treadmills. Breakfast starts @ 6:00 am. Very limited English speakers at the Buffet - Wish they would put a signage at the Juice counter. For Comparision Airport Ride from BOG would be around ~45,000+ by Uber vs 90,000 via Hotel booked Ride. Traffic is very heavy in the morning towards the Tourist / historical sites easily running 60+ minues. Hotel is in a relatively safe area. There is no dedicated Conceirge

I had an excellent stay at DoubleTree Bogotá Parque 93, and what really made the difference was the staff. At check-in, I had a small issue with the room I was initially assigned, but Carlos, the Front Office Manager, handled it professionally and made sure everything was resolved favorably. The room itself was very comfortable, with an excellent mattress, great sheets, and pillowcases. I honestly had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The bar and restaurant team were the real highlight of the stay. Andrés, Nuri, and Stiven showed great teamwork and a genuine commitment to exceptional customer service. Stiven, in particular, was a real character and made the experience even more enjoyable. I hope he makes it to working on a cruise ship someday, because I think he would excel there as well. Alexander, the Captain in the restaurant, also deserves special mention. He consistently went out of his way to make guests feel welcome, and I noticed he gave that same attention and warmth to everyone, not just me. At the front desk, Alejandra was reserved in personality, but very capable and efficient. She clearly knows her job and handles things with ease. Amelia was also frequently visible around the hotel, and although I am not sure of her exact position, she always took the time to speak with me. Any time I mentioned something I needed, she followed through and made sure it was taken care of. I originally planned to stay only two nights, but because of such a great team, I extended my stay to five nights. By the end, I almost felt like family there. Other hotels in Colombia would be lucky to have a team like the one at this DoubleTree.

I would never recommend this hotel. In fact, I can’t remember a hotel stay this bad. From the service to the condition of the property, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. The staff could benefit from training in customer service, professionalism, and empathy. After returning to our room after the first day, within 30 minutes we had three separate people knock on our door, one of whom was the hotel’s Revenue Manager, to tell us there was blood on the sheets and that we would need to pay for them. They tried to soften the message by asking if I was okay, but the purpose of the visit was clearly to discuss charging us. I had surgery just a few days before arriving, and unfortunately a few very light spots of blood got on the sheets. It was upsetting and honestly shocking to have that handled with so little empathy. Prior to this stay, I had been at the Marriott Residence Inn in Bogotá, where a similar situation was handled with warmth, professionalism, and understanding. No one knocked on my door demanding money. Another uncomfortable interaction happened when someone knocked on our door, spoke only in Spanish, and left before we understood what they needed. A few minutes later they called the room and again spoke only in Spanish. When my mom said “no español,” the person responded clearly in English, “You don’t speak Spanish?” When she again said no, they hung up. It was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Beyond that, the overall service was consistently cold and unfriendly. Even basic room service felt lacking, they wouldn’t bring the food into the room, yet still expected a tip. The room itself was also underwhelming. There was a missing shower door, the safety latch on the door was partially broken and unusable, and there was visible water damage and mess outside our room. Photos included. What really stood out was that we ended up checking out early, and not once did anyone ask, “How was your stay?” or “I see you’re leaving early, is everything okay?” No acknowledgment whatsoever. This hotel was deeply disappointing from start to finish. I regret booking here (even having used points) and wish I had stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn in Bogota.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews and wait to see if things get better with the passing of days, but here everything is getting worse. Our experience from front desk to restaurant had been terrible (With the exception of Nuri Ricaurte, she has been extremely nice and helpful). They never acknowledged you, during breakfast we waited 20 min before someone came and offered coffee, needless to say that there were only two other tables there. We came this afternoon and asked the front desk if he could place a request for someone to bring ice to the room, he said that we needed to come to the room and call room service and do it myself, again no body else was there, so he was not busy and like that so many complaints of poor customer service. We stayed here before and had a very good experience, but definitely this new staff need to learn some manners and customer service before dealing with guests.
