We had the best time at Stamford. All the staff were so friendly and did their absolute best to make us comfortable. The pool was a great temperature and we also used the gym. Great quality breakfast buffet too. The hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants in walking distance. We will certainly be back!

The hotel is well equipped, the gym and pool have spectacular views, and it is well located to the botanical gardens and Kangaroo Point. The lounges in the lobby and room were very comfortable. We had the buffet breakfast included which we would not recommend if you needed gluten free or have other special dietary needs - there was also a distinct lack of seasonal fruits at the breakfast. We also had the high tea included on check in which was average - although it was gluten free. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. It is a reasonable walk from central station wheeling luggage, with several stairs at the entry from the footpath and no wheeling ramp (except on the road). We can recommend Mulga Bill's restaurant.

Unfortunately, our recent stay was quite disappointing and fell short of the standard we had expected, particularly given the hotel's deluxe accommodation offering. The hotel itself is beginning to look quite tired and dated, and we felt that both cleanliness and general maintenance could be improved. There was noticeable dust along the skirting boards, especially in the toilet, which suggested a lack of attention to detail. The towels provided were also well below expectations. They were very small, thin and of poor quality, with only two supplied in the room. The linen was more in keeping with what we would expect from basic motel accommodation rather than a deluxe hotel room. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the television was also not working, as we were unable to obtain a signal. Our greatest disappointment, however, was the room itself. We specifically booked a Deluxe River King Room and requested a river view, yet we had no view of the Story Bridge or the city skyline. Neither landmark was visible from our room. When booking and paying for accommodation advertised as a deluxe river room, we believe it is reasonable to expect a view that reflects the description and presentation of the room. Unfortunately, this was not our experience, and we felt the room did not meet the expectations created at the time of booking. Gives you a picture view of the bridge when booking, certainly didn't have that. Breakfast was another disappointing aspect of our stay. The selection was quite basic, with limited variety, and much of the food that should have been served hot was barely warm. The muffins and pastries did not seem particularly fresh, and even the juices were not properly chilled. Overall, the breakfast offering lacked the quality and presentation we would expect from a hotel of this standard. We spent approximately 15 minutes at breakfast before deciding to leave, as there was very little that appealed to us. What makes this experience particularly disappointing is that we stayed at the same hotel approximately 18 months ago and recall having a much more positive experience. Unfortunately, the overall standard appears to have declined since our previous visit. We understand that hotels experience wear and tear over time, but cleanliness, maintenance, quality linen and accurate room descriptions are fundamental expectations, particularly when guests are paying for deluxe accommodation. Overall, we did not feel that our stay represented good value for money. We share this feedback constructively and hope management takes the opportunity to review these areas, as there is certainly room for improvement. Regrettably, based on this experience, we would be unlikely to choose this hotel again.

We had a wonderful overnight stay utilizing the staycation package. The room was really comfortable and the bathroom was huge. We especially loved the view! Parking onsite was included and was really a bonus. Breakfast was also plentiful and varied. We did so much walking as the weather was perfect. Highly recommend!

Great location was great but the hotel is looking very old. Had to wait about 10 minutes to get serviced. Only 1 person on front desk. No valet parking or assistance with luggage. No clear signs for lift. Once out of lift to find room which direct was so small I missed it. Bathroom was huge with a lovely bath. Only problem is the toilet is in bathroom so if someone is using the toilet you can't use bathroom. No robes available and rooms were cleaned after lunch so after being out all day coming back to hotel beds not made or towels replaced. I know these are little things but we paid top dollar to stay there so expect 5 star quality. Will not stay there again. Much better modern offers out there.

The room was excellent: clean, fantastic view, large, good bed…The bathroom was a ballroom, clean, large, douche, bad, everything you needed in a very nice setting. At the reception: they did what was expected, but i was used, in Australië, that their is more hospitality. We arrives early in the morning and had to pay for our coffee, while breakfast still was open. (In an other hotel they offered us breakfast for free and did everything to get us room ready before 2PM). In Stamford Plaza Brisbane, we had to wait till 2 PM to go to our room. But I would go back! Great view, Great room, Great location! Good price! The service could be more friendly.

Loved my stay at the Stamford Plaza and am so grateful to the entire team, especially Helito and Rossette, for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. The Stamford Plaza is a unique experience. I loved the old-world charm, homely rooms (especially the beautiful flower pictures hanging in the rooms), stunning river views, and genuinely caring service. The staff couldn’t have done enough for me and made me feel truly welcome and cared for throughout my stay. I also enjoyed making use of the gym and pool, with its wonderful views of the Story Bridge. A truly memorable stay. Thank you to everyone who made my time at the Stamford Plaza so special! Look forward to returning again.

My recent stay at Stamford Plaza Brisbane was unfortunately very disappointing and fell well below expectations. To begin with, the breakfast offering was quite limited and lacked variety, which is surprising for a hotel of this standard. The overall quality did not reflect what one would anticipate from a premium property. The condition of the hotel itself is also in need of attention. The furniture throughout feels noticeably dated, and the general atmosphere lacks the freshness and comfort expected in this category. Additionally, the gym and sauna facilities were in very poor condition, appearing neglected and far from inviting to use. However, the most concerning aspect of my stay was the level of service. Despite having booked space for underground parking for the duration of my stay, I encountered a situation on my third day where the car park was full. When I approached the concierge (Daniel) for assistance, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive response. Rather than offering a solution, I was bluntly told to “just park on the street,” and "do you want me to help you or not" which is entirely unacceptable not just given that parking had been booked but as someone should be there to assist customer needs this way of communication is simply unacceptable. This experience reflects a lack of accountability and customer care that is difficult to overlook. Overall, the combination of subpar facilities and poor service made for a frustrating stay, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
