We spent a lovey 4 nights at this hotel. Our suite was spacious with separate lounge and bedroom with beautiful decor and furnishings. The service in the breakfast room was very good, with a good selection of food. The hotel is a short walk to either the metro (Trone) or train station (Luxembourg) or a walk down the hill past the palace to the Grand Place. Hotel also has a nice outdoor terrace to sit and have a drink. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel but I would expect complimentary water in the room for a 5* Hotel. I was charged €6 per bottle (0.5ml). Outrageous!! And when pointed out to the receptionist, she said I know it's not fair and shrugged her shoulders. That's not the service from a 5 star hotel!

Response from the property

Dear Aaishah, We thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are delighted that you found our hotel beautiful and that your overall experience was a positive one. However, we are sincerely sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Our minibar comes with a selection of paid beverages, though we do offer a complimentary non-alcoholic drink to all our Thon members. We regret that our reception team did not address your concern with the care it deserved, and we will certainly take your feedback into account. Nonetheless, we hope you were able to enjoy our central yet peaceful location, just a short walk from the city centre and the European district. We hope to see you again soon. Best regards, Stanhope Management Team

I have stayed in this hotel couple of times. Roomes are really good, coffee in the room. I especially like the service, staff is very nice and helpful. I preferred room with backyard view, as Brussles can be very noisy with sirenes whole day and night.

Response from the property

Dear Ivana, Thank you for writing a review of your recent visit and for recommending our hotel. It’s wonderful to hear you had such a positive experience during your recent stay with us. We’re delighted you found your room comfortable and enjoyed the in-room coffee. Our team takes great pride in providing attentive service, so it’s rewarding to know their efforts made your visit special. That said, we regret any disturbance you experienced from the city’s activity. We will put a profile note stating your preference for the garden view. Finally, we hope you appreciated our central yet serene location, perfect for exploring Brussels’ highlights while ensuring restful moments. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. Kindest regards, Stanhope Management Team

Beautiful hotel, but service does not match the 5-star standard The Stanhope Hotel Brussels is very beautiful and elegant. The 24-hour reception is extremely useful, especially if guests have evening plans that run late. However, the attitude and professionalism of the staff absolutely do not match the standards of a 5-star hotel. Internal communication is lacking, and the way guests are treated during check-in and check-out is far from acceptable for a luxury establishment.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Stanhope Hotel Brussels to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was truly a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere that makes you feel special the moment you arrive. Everything was beautifully maintained, and every detail reflected quality and attention to detail. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming and professional. Their warm and attentive service made our anniversary celebration even more memorable. The location is also excellent — perfect for exploring Brussels while offering a peaceful and refined atmosphere to return to after a day in the city. We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Our stay was truly memorable. We absolutely loved our time at the Stanhope Hotel Brussels and would happily return. Highly recommended for a special occasion — a truly exceptional hotel and a beautiful experience!

I had a great stay at Thon Hotel EU ⭐️ The hotel is modern, very clean, and located in a convenient area of Brussels. The room was comfortable and well equipped with coffee, water, slippers, and iron facilities, which made the stay even more convenient.I also loved the small complimentary touches like free apples and Lotus biscuits in the lobby, such a nice detail! The atmosphere is welcoming and the service was excellent. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Brussels 💯

Location is about a km from Grand place. Not ideal location but easy walk or bike ride into the main common areas. Being a bit further away was quiet and calm. Nothing fancy but the breakfast was great and kept us going all day.

Great hotel, lovely room and bathroom. Plenty of choice of TV channels. But the breakfast! WOW! Excellent choices, fresh food, love the real juices. Not good if you're on a diet, as you'd have to miss out on so much - it's all plentiful and fantastic quality. Love staying at this hotel before and will stay again, always good.
