It is a basic hotel, with less amenities. Things you should know before booking: There is no elevator. I stayed on 2nd floor and there was no internet( not slow, none) When I asked the reception, I was told some rooms have issues with connection and my room was one of them. In general my stay was quiet except for Friday morning. Be prepared to be woken at 6 am by the garbage collecting trucks. Hotel is basic, so pretty much okay if you don’t have high standards and the location is super.

The location of this hotel is perfect, however unless you want to be woken up between 5-6am, DO NOT stay here. Whether it’s the bin men at 5am, the shops across the way opening their shutters and dragging stuff around at 6am, or the same guy every morning dragging delivery crates up and down the street. It’s near on impossible to sleep from 5am onwards. Also, house keeping service isn’t good. Apart from emptying the bin they don’t do anything else. Have to ask for clean towels and no beds were made. Breakfast ok but a bit cold! Would NEVER stay here again which is a shame.

The hotel is in a nice location, easy to get to came to check in around midnight and everything was easy quick and smooth.THERE IS NO ELEVATOR, so be ready to carry your luggage upstairs if it matters to you.Breakfast was basic but ok.

The hotel is perfect for a stay during a city trip. Beds are comfortable, rooms have been modernized and the receptionist was very lovely and friendly. I’d recommend staying there.

Great location but unfortunately woken up between 5-6am every morning, due to either bin collection, shop shutters opening or deliveries, plus the same guy every morning dragging crates up and down the street. So if you want to sleep past 5am, DO NOT stay here. Also no lift, just stairs and cold breakfast. NEVER AGAIN.

For the 3 days and 2 nights we stayed in Budapest this Hotel was a perfect location. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly direct, welcoming, helpful and accommodating of requests. Positioned in a highly central location, the period exterior, and lobby made it feel kind of like a boutique hotel. The room seemed clean, comfortable and like it was recently updated. The bathroom was likewise clean. We had access to a mini fridge with no mini bar, an in room safe, and a place to hang some clothes. As an Australian, I happen to be used to hotel rooms having a complimentary kettle and tea selection, however after staying at multiple hotels in Europe I have come to understand that that is not the norm there so it wasn't a big deal. The breakfast selection is varied. From my understanding, on weekdays (and possibly Saturdays, I didn't dine on a Saturday) there is a hot food selection as well as a variety of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, and fruits. However on Sundays as the kitchen doesn't work (or perhaps that was a one off) they prepare sandwiches, juice, water and fruit that they hand out to guests. The only negative thing I have to say about this hotel is that it sadly has no elevator, however this detail is quite openly mentioned over other reviews and we were aware of this prior to booking. Overall I would absolutely stay at this hotel next time I'm in Budapest.

Important to note that currently the hotel is undergoing renovation works so there is often construction workers and it is in essence a construction site. This meant some mornings there was construction noises happening. The renovation itself is an improvement- slightly more modern and in keeping with the times. |The room was comfortable and nicely renovated and the beds were comfortable enough. I had noted a previous review sighting that room 112 had no window covering on one of the windows. Lo and behold, that’s where we were put. We brought this to the attention of the staff - some were completely unaware and shocked that this was the case. One woman said she was aware but that there was nothing they can do. She reassured us that it shouldn’t be a problem as we are not in anyone’s eye line and the sun doesn’t come up in February. Oh how wrong she was. See the picture attached of the glowing street lamp right opposite the room that let light in all night. Not to mention - the sun definitely came up every morning and ensured I was awake bright and early even if the street lamp had kept me awake all night. As you can expect, this really affected me and impacted my stay. I haven’t even divulged into the lack of security and privacy this uncovered window offered me (the room looks out onto the street outside an Irish bar).|We can’t comment on the breakfast as we are vegetarian/vegan and didn’t feel it was worth trying. |The staff are nice and friendly though.

I was very happy with my experience in the hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was so comfortable I never wanted to get up. The hotel itself is around the corner from the fashion street so it’s a perfect location because it’s right in the center but there was no noise at all. The staff were very friendly, smiling at all times. Breakfast was delicious - there wasn’t a lot of variety but everything was fresh and tasty, just what we needed. The day of departure our flight was very early, before breakfast buffet opened, so the receptionist prepared a take-away breakfast for us.
