We stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved it. The photos are accurate, the room is small, but it was the perfect size for two people. It had everything we needed, including a fridge, and the air conditioning worked quietly and efficiently, which made our stay very comfortable. The Nespresso machine in the reception area was a lovely bonus. The location was excellent, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and having a TV with Netflix was a great touch after a day of exploring. We would happily stay here again!

First, the price is expensive for what it is. I have never stayed in an easyjet hotel before but was curious and my booking was late during a busy period. I think the finish of the rooms are overly budget. You can still offer affordable accommodation without using sandpaper towels and providing an actual double duvet. It feels like the company model is cost cutting for no reason. Two single sheets on a double bed for no reason. Fridge also didnt work and bathroom again was overly cheap. That said, the staff were lovely always attentive, always ask how you are, always available. Most importantly, the location makes up for what you lack in comfort. It is second to none, right in the heart of oktogon with a tram right outside and access to everywhere and safe. Overall, I had a good stay.

We stopped here as it was a good price and location. Our room was clean and spacious enough for us to use as a base. The bed was comfortable and pillows very comfy. Bathroom is on the small side but wasn't a problem at all. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was tea/coffee making facilities. I took my own coffee and wad able to boil a kettle in the reception area for this. Also sold cold drinks. Couldn't fault this hotel and will definitely stay again when we visit again

Very close to the Budapest international train station. Clean rooms. Staff was exceptional. Gave us late check out. Simple breakfast. Good location. Rooms were bit smaller still manageable. Since we booked cheap highly recommend this place.

The worst customer service I have ever received having stayed in 100+ hotels in my life. When I arrived at the hotel, I had to ring the bell. No one responded. I rang again and heard a buzzing noise which I assumed to be the bell itself so I just waited. 30 seconds later a large gentleman pulled open the door shouting at me “Why don’t you push the door? You’re supposed to push the door!” I was in complete shock that before I had even stepped foot in the hotel I was being treated like this as a guest. When I asked him why he was so angry. He shouted back “I’m not angry” so I told him to stop shouting at me then. His name was Zsolt and I encourage the management team to send him to customer service training. As a solo female traveller, I found him to be intimating aswell as rude. The rooms are basic but fine for one person. Location is excellent. I will not return again.

The hotel was located right in the heart of the Oktogon area, a popular and central area of Budapest that facilitated our navigating the city, not only by the easy access to busses and the metro, but also by walking. Very close to the famous Andrassy street, the Opera House, and many businesses. The hotel room is very small, barely spacious enough for two people and the bathroom is tiny. However, we knew that! The service was kind and friendly by everyone we encountered, but we were lucky to have had more communication with Szasa, who was delightful and very helpful. Thank you!

I had a great stay at easyHotel Budapest Oktogon. The hotel was super clean, and the location was excellent. It’s very close to the train station and has easy access to the subway and tram, which made getting around Budapest really convenient. Most of the main attractions were also within walking distance. Perfect choice for a city trip — simple, comfortable, and very well connected.

The blonde day-shift male receptionist was openly snappy and condescending towards Asian visitors who don’t speak perfect English. He never has a smile on his face and clearly detests his job, leaving me questioning why he bothers turning up to work at all. He seems to fancy himself a petty antagonist from Mean Girls, thriving on looking down on guests. Out of the eight European countries I have travelled across, he is the only person who made me feel uncomfortable. Paying customers deserve basic courtesy, not this dismissive treatment.
