Excellent stay at the Westin Josun Busan! The location is unbeatable as you are right on the beach. The service is excellent as expected at a high end hotel. The breakfast in the restaurant was a nice variety, the staff at O’Kims was friendly for a relaxed meal, and to top it off the executive lounge was a huge perk as a status member with Bonvoy. Sumin Lee I saw most often welcoming to the executive lounge to relax for a drink or an evening happy hour meal. She is extremely professional & kind. If you have any questions she is happy to assist or just for a friendly chat. Big thank you to all of the staff!

Fabulous hotel in an unbeatable location. This hotel was obviously built a while ago judging by the exterior, but you wouldn’t know it based on the inside. It has been very extensively renovated to a high standard. The location can’t be beaten and it’s worth the extra money for the beach view rooms. The only thing that was a slight let down was the breakfast quality. It was a little on the basic side for a hotel of this standard, but it’s a minor point overall. I would definitely recommend as the place to stay in Haeundae, you just can’t beat being able to walk up off the beach and head right back into your room.

Stayed at The Westin Josun Busan again, and just like last time, it was wonderful. Right from the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the luxurious atmosphere and the incredibly welcoming team. I decided to try out their Wellness Program, and the trainer was so attentive, taking the time to carefully guide my form throughout the class. A special shout-out to Soyeong Kim at the sauna and pool desk after the session—she was super helpful and explained everything so kindly. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Busan, this one easily has the best ocean view. It's such a comfortable and peaceful place to relax. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip

After 690 nights staying at Bonvoy properties over 8 years, I can say that my stay at the Westin Josun Busan leaves lasting memories, every time. Location is the best, by far, out of all hotels on Haeundae Beach (and I've stayed at a few, up and down the beach, seeing the beach/ocean view from all angles). The view itself is worth staying at the Westin Josun Busan. This cannot be disputed. Atmosphere. There is something about the Westin Josun Busan. And I think it comes down to the staff. They just make you feel welcome, and feel comfortable. I don't know how to describe the feeling. What I can stay is that I've stayed at quite a few Westins, and other hotels, and I always feel welcome the moment I step foot into their lobby. I took my grandma there, I took my wife there, and this time, I took my wife and kids there. My girls loved the hotel, and loved every staff they encountered. And you know kids share very honest feedback. I want to take this opportunity to thank the team at the Westin Josun Busan!

Our stay at The Westin Josun Busan was generally pleasant. The room was clean and quiet, the staff were friendly, and the location was excellent, with a beautiful view of the beach. However, several experiences fell short of what we would expect from a 5-star hotel. Despite having a clearly displayed “Do Not Disturb” sign, housekeeping repeatedly knocked on our door and even opened it to ask whether we wanted the room cleaned. This happened on several days, including after our late arrival when we were trying to get some much-needed sleep due to jet lag. While we understand that housekeeping may have their routines, we found this somewhat disruptive and would have appreciated the “Do Not Disturb” sign being respected more consistently. We were also surprised by the shower curtain in the bathroom. It was clean, but we expected a more upscale setup for a hotel of this category. The biggest disappointment came after check-out. We asked reception to arrange a taxi to Busan Station. After just one attempt and about a minute, we were told that taxis were difficult to find because of the rain and that we should try ourselves. What was most irritating was the limited effort made to help us. We understand that finding a taxi in bad weather can be challenging, but we expected the front desk to make a more genuine effort to assist us. We eventually managed to get a taxi, but it was quite difficult. Fortunately, we had allowed plenty of extra time; otherwise, we might have missed our KTX. For the price, we expected a higher and more consistent level of service.

The Westin Josun Busan enjoys one of the best locations in Haeundae, right next to Dongbaek Island. If you book an ocean-view room, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning panorama of Haeundae Beach, making it one of the hotel’s biggest highlights. As one of Busan’s classic luxury hotels, the property is showing its age in one area: the parking garage is quite narrow, which can be inconvenient if you’re driving a larger vehicle. Fortunately, that’s about the only real downside. The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. Check-in and guest requests are handled quickly, and the overall level of service is excellent. The hotel could, however, improve its bathroom amenities. It would be nice if basic facial cleansing foam were provided in addition to the standard toiletries. Aside from that minor issue, this is an outstanding hotel that I’d happily stay at again for its unbeatable location, beautiful ocean views, and warm hospitality.

What makes this hotel so great is the people! You feel welcome and appreciated in every way. When I checked in, the front desk associate who could not offer an upgrade room seemed so genuinely sorry that I had to console her. The door man who helped me unload the luggage noticed some garbage in my car and offered to take them too. Everyone who worked there had something extra to offer. Even though the rooms are a bit outdated and the bathrooms are small, the staff makes you feel so good that I will continue to go back to this hotel!

The location and views of the beach are phenomenal. There is an E24 store in the lower level that you can buy lamyeon, snacks, coffee, and beers from at any hour. Wonderful exercise at the park just out front or the beach on the rear. Lobby bar had impressive views and the bartenders were meticulous, attentive, and professional.
