A great place to stay, we walked into railway station & the city centre, about 1.7km each way. Clean, comfortable & tidy rooms. Staff are very obliging & try very hard to please. I would stay here again, reasonably priced, being away from city centre.

Avoid!! Stay anywhere else.|This is by far the worst establishment I have ever stepped foot in. Upon checking into our first room, we were greeted by an unbelievably moldy ceiling and thick mold in the bathroom grout. Because my friend has asthma, this was an immediate health hazard. The walls looked like they hadn't been painted since the building was constructed, there were thick layers of dust on every surface, and the bedsheets were stained.|When we requested an alternative, the receptionist moved us to a room that was only marginally better. While it lacked the pungent odor of the first room, we quickly noticed black hairs stuck to the bathroom walls, as well as more hair IN the bed, yellow pillows and stains on the bedsheets.|We returned to reception to ask for another solution, but were told the manager wouldn't arrive for a couple of hours. When we went back later and waited 20 minutes extra of when we were told she would arrive there was no sign of her, we went looking for her ourselves. We found her with a stepladder and a scrubbing brush, bleaching the mold on the ceiling of the first room. (As a side note: bleach does not kill mold on porous surfaces; she was simply bleaching it to hide the issue and resell the room).|When we approached her calmly and civilly, her response was shockingly hostile and unprofessional. She snapped, "Oh, you're here to talk about the cleaning?" When I confirmed that the apartment was dirty and neglected, she replied, "Well, I don't want to talk about the cleanliness, I don't care.". I won’t go into detail of how this woman spoke to me but I can tell you I have never been spoken to so poorly by anyone in customer service. Save yourself the hassle, the health risks, and the disrespect—book anywhere else.

Room needs lot more renovation. Has had no hot water for a while and then it cannot be controlled. Too much noise coming from other rooms. However it was only one night, Reception staff was quite helpful though. Thanks

Customer service from before durkng and leaving was very good! Staff were helpful when needed! Definitely recommend, this was also last minas as well so it was a good stay! My room was spot in and sheets and towels changed daily 😊

Pros: Price. Good A/C and fan. Clean linen. Comfy mattress. Decent small pool. Smart TV and WiFi. Friendly reception. Negatives: rooms are a bit grubby in general. Appliances in rooms are dated and scabby looking. Hotel is not the cleanest overall. Summary: If you're looking for a cheap hotel maybe a step above a hostel it's not a bad shout but very much no thrills and not the prettiest. A 20 min walk from the lively end of town (walk is pretty dark and probs not the best for a solo traveller late at night but your experiences may be different)

7.9 rating on bookings.com is a joke. Need to commend the reception staff, professional, nice and polite. Apart from that the whole place is like 10 years overdue for a major overhaul. Walls are dirty, screens are dirty, anything above 170cm is dusty. Lighting is very weak in general, three of the bulbs were out in our room (under the cabinet in kitchen, rangehood, masterbedroom). Pots have seen better days, all non stick ones are heavily scratched, should be disposed of really. Sliding window in master bedroom was almost impossible to open and close. Oven knobs markings all long gone, guessing game operating it. Linear drain in shower had old dirt and did not drain well. Majority of furniture (cabinets, side tables) is water damaged, etc. Would definitely not recommend for a family stay. It looks like a management issue with poor maintenance and upkeep.

10/10 would stay again. Very affordable but they put in the effort to add value - amazingly clean, spacious, great facilities, friendly front desk, plus brekkie pastries? Yes please! Thanks to Jing Jing on the front desk for being very professional and very kind and friendly. Ill be back!

The hotel is on main road and is easily accessible from airport in 10 mins and even from Cairns esplanade.our room had kitchen with utensils ,so it was perfect and room was very neat and clean .only issue we faced was as it's on main road ,so few times in night , traffic noise was there ,rest everything was good
