Upon arrival to reception with my family- we all had 3 seperate units, I was greeted by a young friendly receptionist who told me that I was in apartment 40- the one that was ‘trashed’ by the previous guests and she was surprised that it was being used. Arriving in the unit- the team had the air conditioning and the fans on already to cool the place down which was greatly appreciated. The furniture is dated, there was dust on the tables and on the lounges and chairs. The lounge room had a 4.5m glass window/doors that lead onto a balcony- NO blinds, curtains- nothing. Being on the second level people can see in when the lights are on directly into the bedroom. I contacted reception- was told that they were out getting ‘cleaned’ and should be reinstalled within 24 hours. The free wifi was not connecting- contacted reception they asked if I had ‘turned it off and on again’- I thought I was going to turn into Maurice Moss. One of the workers came up within the hour and explained that I had to connect to apartment 39 and the wifi password was different also. He explained that he explicitly told the receptionist to pass this on, but she hadn’t. Tiles were missing in the bathroom in the shower, the edges were sharp and could easily cut someone- I notified reception and they had no knowledge of it. 48 hours after staying at the apartment I was told by another receptionist this unit never came with blinds/curtains and that the owner had ordered them and they were going to be installed the following day. I asked for a discount due to the appalling circumstances- was offered $50 from the owner. The blinds were installed when I was away for the day, came back in the afternoon, Lo and behold, skid marks in the toilet adjacent to the laundry. This bathroom hadn’t been used by myself or anyone from my family. The pool and toys were lovely to use and have fun with the family. Just be mindful as there’s a ‘white strip’ where we all thought it was tiles- no it was where the tiles are missing on the bottom of the pool. Thankfully none of the adults or kids had any cuts. Finally, the dryer was full of lint and wouldn’t work until a worker came up and fixed it. Then, it would only work if it was on cooling. The location of the place is fantastic, right on the beachfront, close to restaurants, cafes and coffee shops. A short 10mim drive to Smithfield if you need any groceries. The ammenities are lacking- both BBQ’s near the pool were clean, but the one near the beach wasn’t working and the other would only have gas on the left side. I wouldn’t stay here again as it seems the management team aren’t taking care of the place properly, very sad as the place has a lot of potential. Also- if you have young children, older adults or anyone that struggles up flights of stairs- ask for a ground floor apartment.

We moved to this place last minute after finding our original booking closed. However, we were glad we did. They allowed us to keep our bags at the reception while we were on a day tour before check in. The apartment was spacious with three bedrooms. The pool was nice and the beach was right across the street with easy access. It has a couple of restaurants right next door and a convenient bus stop to take you into Cairns. We enjoyed our stay.

Booked a couple of months ago on a friend’s recommendation. We are on our way back from several weeks spent exploring north of here & this is our last stop before our return flight home.|Location - good and quiet - just 10mins Sth of Palm Cove & we chose it because of our early flight out of Cairns & the airport is literally 15mins drive away without having to stay in Cairns|Atmosphere - ok, tropical vibe as you would expect plus there are mosquito screens, nice gardens & pool area|Rooms - we booked a 1 bedroom superior apt (apt 12) $351/night - very dated, noisy fridge, terrible sleep pillows, dodgy looking blanket for the bed, no face cloths, very average products in the bathroom, no umbrella (it rains a lot here) not a lot to make our stay comfortable. On the upside although we would've preferred a first or 2nd floor apt the ground floor apt was o.k as we had a really nice outdoor patio area overlooking the gardens & pool. Underground parking is secure so overall it was fine for our 3 night stay and there was a laundry so we could get some washing done after travelling a fair bit

I stayed with my family in a three bedroom apartment in unit number 7. There is no room service and the reception is only open for a few hours every day (that’s why the service rating is low). It is a fine place to stay for a five days. The rooms are spacious, but the furniture is definitely older besides the large flat screen TV. Our room was not heavily decorated by any means and the beds were very hard and low to the floor. My sheets were layered in flakes of sand which could be quite itchy late in the night. Each room has a nice closet which has a decent amount of space. Two of the three rooms had TVs which stunk for me and my grandmother who did not get any TV. Our oven did not work very well at all, and it wouldn’t pre-heat. Additionally, the timer did not work on the oven so even when we tried to see if we could cook our frozen pizzas we had bought, the timer never went off and didn’t move at all. Our view was not very good; We could see the street and into the resort, not the beach. The shower was either BOILING HOT or cold. When we would try to adjust it to a nice, warm temperature, the shower would not change temperatures. The pool (cold because of winter) and courtyard is very nice, and we saw two wild wallabies while we stayed here. It is right next to the beach and two wonderful restaurants called L’unico and the Beach House @ Trinity Beach, which both offer great spaghetti. Overall, I would want to try other resorts if I were coming here again, but it is definitely a fine place to stay for a week.

Good location in Cairns with close proximity to everything. For some reason the way it was advertised I thought it was a 4.5 or 5 star resort which would have room service or a restaurant on the property etc. It didn't but it had cafes and dining areas very close to it but still it isn't the same. Apartments were clean and spacious and we got good deals with flights from Melbourne for a family of 4 during school holidays. When we arrived we were given rooms somewhere very high up and I was so exhausted climbing there and was literally in tears and told my husband I can't do it. My knees were sore as I have bad knees from surgery etc, however they were nice and changed the rooms for us to a ground floor one. So please check with staff when you book. Something slightly missing from it though,...maybe the wow factor.. not sure. So I will give it 3.5 stars overall. Its pretty good value though...would recommend if you are on a bit of a tight budget. But its not cheap looking or anything, don't get me wrong. Just not "luxury". Close to airport and other sight seeing venues. Palm Beach is just 10 minutes away I think and lots of shops and eating places there too.

Brilliant place to stay except, very poor for people who can't go up stairs. There is no lifts in this place and the ground floor rooms have more than half a dozen steps to enter the rooms.

The location is good in the center of calm and small Trinity Beach, with a few good options of restaurants, bars and cafes, with direct public bus to downtown. No ocean view but we saw wallabies at the backyard. No daily service with minimal staff. Maybe they have only one maintenance staff in the whole resort. We can’t expect too much service. The electric cooker didn’t work (never boils). Nespresso worked every day. We didn’t try the rice cooker.

We had 3 units booked in for 5 nights. Although there is no room service due to the length of stay, they provided extra toiletries. All the 3 units had different experience depending on the basic facilities in each room. One of the rooms had no modem for WiFi. When we asked for it after 3 days of stay, it was provided the same day. And, there were a few bits & bobs that needed attention. Would have given 5 stars for rooms if everyone had a pleasant experience.
