This hotel was absolutely amzing and one of the most perfect places we've stayed in Cairns. The rooms are incredibly spacious with plenty of room to spread out, and the beds were so comfortable we actually slept in a couple mornings. What really made our stay special though was the staff - everyone was genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help with recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The location is convenient for getting around, and the whole property just has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We felt right at home from the moment we checked in. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area and we're already planning to come back on our next trip up north.

A few days spent in this secure comfy quiet and clean fresh modern room. Air-conditioned and kettle facilities supplied. Bed super comfy. Bathroom modern with hot water and big shower head. The pub next door offers 10% with booking. They cater very well to your needs. Short drive into the harbour and restaurants. Coles is close by. Reception is very helpful. Definitely coming back. Ty for a wonderful stay.

Afternoon, as I'm a regular customer, my stay at your accommodation is very customer caring which is why I feel more comfortable there. It has everything I required, especially when I'm on a FIFO that it can be very tiring for me to drive home to Yarrabah especially when you're sitting in a plane for an hour & a half. So be sure & ready for another booking for another overnight cap with the usual another Sunday overnight stay followed by another 2 night (Friday, Saturday) again, great work Team Balaclava Hotel for making my stay very comfortable, yours sincerely Cornelius.

We always book with nightcap hotels everywhere we go! You will have the best nights sleep!! The beds are SOOOO comfy! The shower pressures are amazing too!

I arrived around 9pm the manager was more than helpful if you arrive when the restaurant is still open you receive a 10% meal discount. You also receive a free beverage ticket which can be claimed at the bar or restaurant.

Clean and tidy room. The reception staff is really helpful. They were just a call away post working time. Centre city is 10-12 mins drive from the location. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you and all the best :-)
