I would call this place more of a hostel than a hotel. The rooms are ok size but the beds are in horrible condition. The mattress almost hangs over the edges of the bed. Uncomfortable to say the least. Noisy water pipes in the closet made it hard to sleep. The hot water was nice, though. We checked out two days earlier than planned. The staff were friendly but we barely dealt with them.

This is a one-star hotel that bills itself as a 3-star hotel. The folks who work here are very kind, but the rooms are dismal. There are no windows and the bathroom smells of mothballs. The front desk will hold your luggage until the 3pm check-in. This is an old, old hotel in a fabulous location.

Location is great. The host/person at the counter, older gentleman, must have been determined to provide the absolute worst possible customer service possible. No greeting, just a blank stare until I said something. He just put the key on the counter and did not even point to where the room was. Onto the room, there was no way of locking the door from the inside. The lead based paint seemed to be peeling off of every surface. There were stains on the toilet seat showing that the place was lazily cleaned. The towels were stained as if used to clean the floors. No warm water. The place is an absolute dump and yes, it is haunted as the reviews say. I would rather put a thermometer in my urethra and smash it with a hammer than deal with the terrible customer service and this nasty hotel. 0 stars if I could give them.

Nice historic hotel, more than 300 years old. Great location near independence square. Nice lobby area and pool. Our room had issues with some lights not working, one loose power outlet, one big stair to enter the bathroom. Nice high celing. Comfortable bed.

Well situated hotel in the walled old-town of Campeche. Easy walking distance to most sites and literally 100 metres from the cathedral. In a Spanish colonial building that probably dates from early 18th century. Clean room. AC. Comfy bed. Small semi outdoor pool. Also has fridge in the main lobby if you need to keep milk or something cold. Beautiful historic ediface. All night desk. Also desk will call a cab driver they know, this was very convenient as I had turned in my rental and needed to get to the Train Maya station. While not overly luxurious, the place is a must if you like history and architecture. There's something about walking the same floors and staying in the same walls that people have for over 3 centuries that can't be beat.

We stayed here for a night and thought it was great value. Having said that, we paid only about £20 for a night, and you do get what you pay for. The room was of a decent size, with basic amenities including a/c. Breakfast is not included, but the ground floor rooms are well aware of this as it is right outside the doors. Having said that, the staff were really nice. The building is charming, with high ceilings, and the location is absolutely incredible - literally 25m from the main Plaza and cathedral. A number of restaurants and bars are within a 2 minute walk, as are some interesting sights. If you are travelling on a budget, or if you just want an inexpensive place to sleep in a good central location, this is a very good option.

After my tour, I asked to be dropped off here and I was dropped off at the wrong hotel. That is because they have different hotels with similar names. There are three hotels with very similar names that are within five blocks of each other. Because I book in advance, check in is very quick. Some hotels require ID for verification and others just give you the key. This hotel has a nice large stairs to go up to the rooms but there are no windows. The shower curtains was barely hanging it kept dropping on my head. Rooms are simple but spacious. There is a ceiling fan and AC, and a nice hanger to toss your hat. By this duration of my trip, I need laundry. They do not have laundry service but available a few blocks. Because I am doing tours during the day and I leave early, I do not have the time. So I washed clothes There is also a simple area in the lobby upstairs where they have tables, coffee maker and items and water. The price was reasonable and value for the money was okay.

The hotel is located in the center of the old town in a very convenient location. The rooms are clean and large, not well lit. We also got a good price because of the corona. The big advantage of the hotel is the shared kitchen and dining room available to the guests, we used them every day and enjoyed them very much!
