Google· 3 weeks agoThe staff in this resort are amazing! Helpful,attentive and you feel safe here. Breakfast food was amazing! Restaurant choices were ok. You cannot make reservations for any of the restaurants. If you want to do the Hibachi restaurant you have to pay an additional charge of 70 usd per person. They also close around 10pm. The pools close early 8pm! Club they have 12am-1am. We went for my friend’s birthday and called down to concierge to see if they could do something cute for it. They told us no! Then we go and leave our room to see other rooms had happy birthday sashes on their doors. Yet they told us they don’t do that. Only reason for the lower ratting. Iv been to many resorts where everything is included no additional cost for food at least and everything closes a lot later/let you swim later as well. Check in does take a long time as well as room service for food.

Tripadvisor· 2 weeks agoI visited this resort as a traveling group fitness instructor, and brought my daughter with me. We had a great week! The dinners were wonderful! Ricardo at Spumante was an exceptional server. The beach was beautiful, and the water was perfect! The stars of the show, though, were the members of the E-Team. Alex, Emir, Pablo, Ferran, Faskano, Nabye, & Ximena (Ferran told me all of the name spellings, so if they are not correct.....) are all so sweet, funny, and kind. They made our week enjoyable! Do the activities, they make them fun!!!

Google· a week agoMy husband and I stayed here for 4 days/3 nights. The room was nice, and the amenities were okay, but overall, I would rate the hotel experience a 5/10. For an all-inclusive adults-only resort, I was shocked that everything closes at 11 PM. Room service is available 24/7, but it took about an hour to arrive, so if you get hungry late at night, plan ahead. On the last day of our trip, I started feeling extremely sick and initially thought it was from traveling. However, after seeing a doctor, I was told I had bacteria in my blood and otitis externa (swimmer’s ear). I was informed it was likely caused by exposure to contaminated water. The pool appeared clean, but the water didn’t seem properly chlorinated. What concerned me even more was hearing from several people in our group who also became sick during the trip. The food was average at best, and the additional prices for things like private dinning, hibachi dinner and massages were outrageous. Honestly, the highlight of our trip was leaving the resort and going to Coco Bongo. It was by far the best club experience our group had. To make matters worse, renovations started the day after we arrived because Hilton had purchased the property. There was construction, confusion, and just an overall messy atmosphere. Unfortunately, I would not return to this resort.

Google· 2 weeks ago⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely AMAZING! This birthday girls’ trip was a complete success, and Breathless Cancún Soul exceeded every expectation. From the breathtaking ocean views and beautiful resort to the delicious food, fun atmosphere, and incredible service, everything was top-notch. We’ve stayed at a lot of places, and it’s the people who truly make a resort unforgettable. A very special shoutout to **Alejandro **our bartender at the rooftop pool. From our very first drink, he remembered us and made sure we were taken care of every single day. His service was exceptional, but what really stood out was his genuine personality. Every conversation made us feel welcome, valued, and like we were visiting friends instead of just staying at a resort. He consistently went above and beyond with a smile. Breathless—you’ve got a true gem in Alejandro. Give that man a raise!!! 😂 Thank you for helping make my birthday one I’ll never forget. We are already planning our next trip and can’t wait to experience more Breathless resorts around the world. Until next time… ¡Salud! 🥂🌴☀️

Google· a month agoBreathless?? I visited Breathless in Cabo San Lucas and loved the friendly staff. So I was a little surprised by this location. The hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are very modern with great views. The ocean was filled with seamoss but nothing a single hotel can do about that. The restaurants are overall just ok - worst Mexican food during this visit. The French restaurant was 3 or 4 stars - the best food we enjoyed at the hotel. The Hibachi was a 3 - I guess I've seen better knife shows and eaten better food at our local Hibachi restaurant. Food on the whole was about 3 stars. The staff...not sure what is going on but eye rolls were common place. You can't eat at the pool chairs unless you are paying around $200/day for a cabana. That was a first at any resort I have visited. The sodas and water in the common area were not restocked and the carbonated water was the first to go. Our room water bottles were never restocked - the only thing that we drank in the room. The best Whiskey on offer was Jim Bean. The hotel is tightly coupled with Amstar - we requested a car for the airport, gave all our contact information but we didn't get a call when I messed up and the time on my watch was wrong. My fault but a phone call from the driver would have helped. Not sure that this restort meets the standards that I had for Breathless.

Tripadvisor· 3 weeks agoI've now been to 3 Breathless resorts. Do they compare to Secrets, in some ways but it's just a different Vibe and Experience. I was worried about some reviews, but I thought this Breathless was just as good as Riviera Cancun and Punta Cana. It all depends on how memorable you want to make your trip and if you look for the negative over the positive. The six of us were determined to make our own party and memories regardless, so we went in with positive attitudes. We had great interactions with all the staff but wanted to highlight a few: Crystal helped us check in when we arrived Wednesday morning and was energetic and welcoming. Esteban and Dinorah were wonderful helping my bridesmaids book a Cabana on Saturday and helped me surprise them with the wine cellar on our last evening together. David and Irwin on the pool deck kept the party going all afternoon. Martin guided us through the Hydrotherapy at the Spa. Carlos and Ivan on the roof top pool made great drinks. Christian and all the servers and staff took great care of us at Spumante. Eduardo was willing to get us every dish and request we had in the wine cellar which enhanced our experience. Alex and the entertainment team do a great job with activities during the day. The food we thought was comparable to the other UVC resorts we had been to. The breakfast buffet had a fresh Chilaquiles bar, plantains (one of my favorite while on vacation) and the French toast was good with home style potatoes. For dinner the French was our favorite (the chicken delicious and the white fish special was amazing) followed by the Italian then Asian. We were sad that the Xhale private breakfast was not available as advertised, but the Xhale Club was modern and open with a beautiful view of the ocean. Many don't have a view like that. Yes, some alcohol could be higher quality, but are you not going to drink because of that? Their whiskey and bourbon selection was pretty good. I just wish they had Don Julio because that's what I drink all day! Overall we had a wonderful time relaxing by the rooftop pool in the morning and then making our way down to the party pool (middle pool) in the afternoon. We even played Bingo our first afternoon down at the bottom pool. The shows were shorter and not as elaborate as other resorts but we enjoyed the fire performers, the amazing drag show in the Club, the robot on stilts for the Rave to take pictures with and the Silent Disco. I'm sure I'm forgetting something else, but we all agreed we would return. Even to just chill on the roof top or at the beach/bottom pool if you don't want the party vibe for a day or two. Some people definitely needed to go to Temptations as that seemed more their style (no judgement), but we liked the variety of pools, so you could make your trip whatever you wanted it to be. To all the amazing people we met the past week, thank you for enhancing our vacation. You were all lovely and it was refreshing to be around so many people complementing one another and having a great time!

Google· 2 months agoHave some good things to say about this resort, but I'll begin with the subpar and unpleasant qualities first. Upon arrival we experienced a very slow and delayed check in process- we asked if we could have a drink and were pointed to the nearby bar while we waited. We were met by a very unwelcoming and rude bartender at the Wink Bar in the hotel lobby and a rude bellhop who did not make getting luggage easy for some of our party after waiting about an hour to get checked in. The bartender was clearly annoyed when we gave her our 1st order of drinks to commence our vacation. She literally rolled her eyes after I gave her our drink order. Our party of 6, who booked 3 rooms, had to make several visits to the reception desks to either get new room keys or have them reactivated. This occured SEVERAL times throughout our stay. In one day our friends had to reactivate their room keys 4 times! Jaime at the reception desk was incredibly rude on one of these occassions. He was visibly bothered by our request and was rude during the entire interaction. We returned to our rooms only to find out the keys still didn't work. We had to then meet once again with Jaime, our miserable friend- the front desk receptionist, who appeared to be quite amused that we had to return with malfunctioning keys. Checkout process could use improvement as well. Make sure to take care of any outstanding balances, otherwise you may be stuck in a long line with new arriving hotel guests. And well check in process is slow as well. The good-resort is a 5-7 mn. drive from the party zone in Cancun. The rooms, pool areas, and fitness center were clean and aesthetically pleasing. The coffee bar and restaurants all offered wonderful options. The buffet was our go to for breakfast and lunch but we also enjoyed dinner at Silk City and Spumante. Employees at these restaurants were WONDERFUL! They were fun, friendly, and attentive. This resort has lots of potential but some of their staff lack warmth and hospitality especially by those who make the first impressions upon arrival at a property like this. They could take note from some of the other employees who we enjoyed meeting and made our stay more enjoyable.
Summary for your reference
