We have stayed at One&Only resorts in different countries, and the service here was truly exceptional. It felt like a genuine luxury experience, and we felt very welcomed throughout our stay. From the warm welcome and smooth check-in to the CC team who showed us around, breakfast staff, and the staff assisting with our car, everyone was genuinely kind, polite, and always smiling. Not to mention the safety and attention to details.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The staff were welcoming and the service excellent. The breakfast was good, as was the dining at Rooi. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. Being within the V&A waterfront, we could easily walk to the main shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at the One&Only Cape Town for the first three days of our trip, and it was a wonderful way to begin our time in South Africa. The property is absolutely beautiful — elegant, peaceful, and very well maintained. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and consistently accommodating, which made us feel immediately at ease after a long journey. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a great selection and high quality food that set us up perfectly for the day. One of the biggest highlights is the location. It felt very safe, and we loved being able to walk easily to the V&A Waterfront, which made exploring Cape Town incredibly convenient. Overall, it was a luxurious and comfortable stay in a perfect location. We would happily return and would highly recommend it as a starting point for anyone visiting Cape Town.

The High Tea at One and Only is by far the best out of all of them and believe me I've done all the High Tea's in Cape Town. Ash gave us exceptional service!! He is so friendly and make us feel very welcome. He always checks up & has everything ready for you before you even have to ask. Wow!! I am blown away with the great experience we received. Thank you One and Only and thank you Ash - 10/10 to you!

We absolutely loved our stay at One&Only Cape Town and cannot wait to come back again soon! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so thoughtful and luxurious. We were lucky enough to have a Table Mountain view and waking up every morning to that breathtaking sight was honestly unforgettable - such a magical way to start each day in Cape Town. What really made the stay extra special were all the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel, especially for families. The penguin backpacks for the kids were the sweetest surprise and our children were absolutely obsessed with them! The staff made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make the experience memorable for the whole family. The location is also perfect- being so close to the V&A Waterfront made everything incredibly convenient while still feeling peaceful and private inside the resort. The breakfast buffet was another highlight of our stay. So much variety, beautifully presented, and everything was absolutely delicious. It became one of our favourite parts of the day. For dinner, we had the pleasure of dining at both ROOI and Nobu - two completely different but equally beautiful experiences. ROOI felt quintessentially South African with incredible flavours and atmosphere, while Nobu was iconic as always and such a treat knowing it’s the only one in South Africa. Both restaurants were exceptional and added so much to our experience. Most importantly, our kids absolutely loved every moment of the stay, which made it even more special for us as a family. One&Only Cape Town truly delivered a world-class experience and we already cannot wait to return.

I just spent a week at the One & Only celebrating my 38th birthday. The team were incredible all the way from initial booking to check out. I was able to arrange birthday decor and the team also went out of their way to ensure i had a fabulous birthday. There were treats and they were very attentive to feedback and smoothed over any issues. I had asked for harbour views and it did not disappoint at all, i had the best views! The only small item is that the room seemed to be newly renovated and hot water was an issue on the first day as well as the lack of actual blankets (i was however sent many throws which helped greatly) however these did not deter from my trip at all. Thanks to the entire team!

We stayed in one of the lodges at One & Only, the room was beautiful, the service exceptional, and food was delicious. We would like to give a special shoutout to Ebrahim at the concierge, Anastacia & Sam in the dining room, and the security guard at the hut on entrance to the island, I didn’t get his name, but he was on most of the day’s we were there, we actually joked with him, that he never went home 😂|Our room was wonderful, spotless clean, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, easy walk to numerous restaurants, bars, shops and shopping centres. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Cape Town.

I was genuinely disappointed with the housekeeping service at One&Only Cape Town, especially considering the level and reputation of the hotel. Throughout my stay, I had to repeatedly follow up on basic housekeeping matters. I asked several times for alcohol to be removed from the room, and it was only taken away after my third request. On different occasions, I also found used cups and even plates that were not properly clean. One day, I returned to the room after housekeeping had serviced it and found food remains still left on the plate. The complimentary chocolates and chips/snacks were also not replenished. For a luxury five-star property like One&Only, I expected much more attention to detail. Unfortunately, the housekeeping service was poor compared to the standard, price, and overall level of the hotel. At mornings you can easily hear the noises outside the door which disturbs while sleeping sometimes Guests should not have to repeatedly point out basic cleaning issues or remind housekeeping to properly service and replenish the room. The property itself is beautiful, but the housekeeping experience definitely did not match the One&Only standard.
