We were greeted by the fabulous concierge team making us feel at home straight away. Check in was seamless and the addition of a locally made beaded bracelet was a lovely touch. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and a superb view of the city and towards the sea. |Breakfast was vast, Indian chai and a full compliment of worldwide favourites, service was excellent each day.|Bar service was friendly, attentive and Amarula on tap!!!! We were welcomed every evening with huge smiles and we thoroughly enjoyed the musician on Saturday night adding to the atmosphere. |Turn down service was perfect. |Concierge assisted with Uber and took care of our cases post check out. All in all a fabulous stay and we would stay again.

Valet parking is a great advantage and car is available in front of the hotel within minutes. Front desk staff is helpful and gave a hotel tour for our comfortable stay. Concierge service is excellent and helped us plan the day better. Rooms are clean, classy and well maintained. Tower wing room view mesmerized us with the view of Table Mountain and Lion's head from balcony. Breakfast buffet had good variety especially Indian breakfast section. Overall it was a great stay. If I ever visit Cape town again, I would definetly stay at Taj hotel. Best hotel in the town.

We stayed at this hotel a month ago and loved our stay so much that we found an excuse for another stay just a month later. The hotel really is phenomenal. Attention to detail is obvious everywhere. Personalized care and assistance. Exceptional food. Fantastic location. Most certainly my top recommendation for anyone looking for an upmarket, beautiful, hotel in Cape Town. Every guest is treated like Royalty!

I love Taj Hotel so much. A gem in the CBD. It's busy outside during the day but wonderfully quiet at night. You get exceptional service from the most amazing staff, beautiful rooms with breathtaking views of Table Mountain and a delicious breakfast buffet from Mint Restaurant. We also enjoyed the in-room dining, the food was delicious. We had two interleading bedrooms, which was perfect for our family. The kids absolutely loved it. We used Uber to get around and everything was so convenient. My kids still can’t stop talking about our stay. We’ll definitely be back. ❤️

Taj Cape Town is perfection in every way! From the spacious Family Suite to the incredible breakfast buffet and outstanding dining at Mint Restaurant and Bombay Brasserie, every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional customer service and genuine hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Manager Josephine and Shameez at the front desk for making us feel so welcomed and special throughout our stay. As this was our first trip to South Africa, Taj Cape Town made it even more memorable by providing the very best experience. An absolutely wonderful hotel and one of the highlights of our trip to Cape Town. We stayed at the Taj to celebrate my 61st birthday and to show my wife Cape Town for the very first time. The hotel exceeded all expectations. The views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and Signal Hill from our room were breathtaking, the breakfast offered an excellent variety of delicious options, and the location is perfect for exploring the city and its many nearby restaurants. A special thank you to the team for the thoughtful birthday surprise, which made our stay even more memorable. Exceptional service, beautiful rooms, outstanding views, and genuine hospitality. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend the Taj Cape Town to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

Went there in May 2024. Not sure if Brandon still works there, took us to play pole at a local bar; ensuring we were safe. This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. The hotel in general was great. The concierge, Teshwin, I have never seen anybody multitask (four tasks at once) like he did. Hope to return one day. The best of memories during my stay in Cape Town.

Where can I eat near Taj Cape Town?

You have great choices right at the hotel: the Bombay Brasserie for Indian cuisine, the Mint Restaurant and Wood-Fired Grill for all-day dining, the Taj Lobby Bar and Lounge, and the Whisky Lounge. A few steps away on Wale Street, you will find the Gin Bar and Ouzeri for Cypriot-Greek fare. FYN, a fine-dining spot, is around the corner on Parliament Street, and GiGi, a rooftop bar-restaurant, is on St George's Mall. Bree Street, just two blocks away, is lined with restaurants and bars. The Mint's terrace overlooks St George's Mall, so you can enjoy your meal while watching the city go by.

The V&A Waterfront with its harbour and aquarium is a 23-minute walk. The Old Biscuit Mill, a former factory turned food and arts hub, is nearby, and Table Mountain is visible from the hotel.
