Superb property...the location is challenging for mornings and afternoons for a Tour Operator and Guide, as you get stuck in traffic jn and out. Management is hands on and staff are friendly. The grounds are immaculate. The history behind the Manor House is as intrestong interesting. A great location for those who loves the quiet of suburbs, lush gardens and small intimate hands on service.

From the moment you arrive at The Claremont Boutique Hotel, you immediately feel welcomed. The property has the warmth of a beautiful private home, with elegant interiors, peaceful gardens, and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. What truly makes this hotel special is the genuine hospitality. Every detail feels thoughtful and personal, and the team makes you feel completely at ease from arrival to departure. It’s an intimate, charming place in Cape Town that leaves you already looking forward to your next visit.

What a superb hotel! We absolutely LOVED our stay - our only complaint is we didn’t stay long enough! We enjoyed the most wonderful attentive service from Charmaine, Tiffany, Daphne and all the serving team - huge thanks to you all. The public areas, lounges and gardens are beautiful. The rooms are amazing - spacious and comfortable. The beds are super comfy and every amenity is thoughtfully provided in the rooms. We loved the complimentary frozen yoghurts and water at the pool and the honesty gin bar in the gardens was a great touch. We shouldn’t be surprised as it is a great example of a Sabi Sabi Collection hotel! The breakfast is super delicious - awesome coffee from the barista and again the staff are amazing - we had lovely chats with them all - they’re engaging and truly interested in their guests.

Our stay at The Claremont Hotel in Cape Town was nothing short of exceptional. Perfectly positioned away from the city’s buzz, it offers a true sense of escape—an oasis of calm where you can completely unwind. What makes this hotel so special is its heart. Though intimate in size, the level of service is remarkable. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful, from the warm welcome at reception to the small, memorable moments—like cappuccinos delivered in the pouring rain, accompanied by the kindest smile. The interiors are beautifully curated—elegant, stylish, and intentionally designed, creating a space that feels both refined and effortlessly comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight in itself. Fresh, delicious, and not to be missed—especially the green juice, which quickly became our favourite. What truly sets this team apart is how seamlessly everything runs. There’s a confidence and polish you’d expect from a hotel long established, yet paired with a warmth that feels personal and sincere. A truly special place—we’re already looking forward to returning.

What an idyllic setting in the city! Away from the hustle and bustle but still just minutes from downtown and incredible views of Table Mountain. The staff was just lovely and very accommodating, even storing a small bag for us when we went on safari. This was my husband’s first trip to Africa, and our first hotel we stayed at. BIG MISTAKE because it set the bar so high!

The Claremont Boutique hotel is a lovely designed boutique property. As soon as you walk in the door, the staff were so kind, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully designed and the food here is delicious.

The Claremont Boutique Hotel is a wonderfully located gem near Newlands, Cape Town. Established gardens and beautifully appointed rooms make it a unique and classic luxury stay option for anyone experiencing South Africa and the greater Cape Town area. Staff are very accommodating - warm hospitality and big smiles add to the homely atmosphere of this classic boutique option. A very well-run establishment. I will definitely return.
