The hotel is amazingly well located within the stone walls of the city center. You can walk anywhere with 10-15 minutes, and it is surprisingly convenient. Accommodations are very clean, bed is comfortable and the amenities (liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hydrating cream) are very nice. The employees are all extremely nice, and we can never forget Daniela for always giving us a genuine smile and making her very best to assist us. It is a pretty and awesome hotel. The reason tor the four stars instead of five is the breakfast. Unfortunately, it appears to be provided by a third party as a service, and it is severely limited. A menu is provided for you to choose one item only and unlike a buffet, you cannot repeat any of it. Options on the menu are more than limited, you get three options, and that is it. The breakfast staff is not as prepared when it comes to being gentle and kind, there is a large difference when comparing to the hotel staff. I feel I was treated quitei differently by the breakfast staff, with a rare smile and at least one time one of the ladies brought my fruits with a finger on them while holding the plate. I definitely would stay at the hotel again, and I recommend it, as long as you are a light eater in the morning and do not care about a nice breakfast treatment. BTW, most taxies do not know the hotel name, like If it was something new, but the location is undeniably easy. You can also use change currency, if needed, right across the street, and there is a grocery store a block away.

Cool location, and bones of the building are very cool, but you can find much nicer hotels for not much more money. This was not a 4-star quality hotel in our experience. Walls were paper thin, rooms were tiny (we booked through Expedia, and photos used there were super misleading.) There were also bugs in the room, and the shower kept flooding. When we told the manager we wanted to check out early, and be refunded the money we paid in advance, we were told that all of these problems were minor.

Fantastic little hotel in the gorgeous walled city. Staff was great, friendly and attentive. Omg the restaurant food amazing. Their night shift desk clerk (Sammy) was so very helpful and talk about safe……. Sammy is ex Colombian special forces multi medal awards recipient Just a note, they do speak Spanish so learn some basics and go from there. Will for sure go back

Avoid this hotel at all costs! B Haus falsely advertises itself as a 4-star hotel and charges 4-star rates, but the rooms are tiny and windowless and were crawling with bugs when we arrived. While the location is great, there are many better (and often substantially cheaper) hotels nearby that you should go to instead.

Rooms with no windows. TV in room y didn't work. Toilet in room broken. No noise insulation in room, you'll be woken every morning at 7am. Breakfast average, coffee terrible. Staff very friendly but absolutely not worth the money. I would not return or recommend it to friends.

Great little hotel in the walled city of cartagena. The Rooms are all facing to the inside open space and have a window in that direction. The Hotel is nicely calm itself and offers great cleaning service. The Nightclerk Samy and the staff is friendly. Be aware they only speak spanish but that shouldnt be a problem for anyone visiting as there are translator apps and dictionaries ;) The Location is its USP and they definitely got a nice little pool on the roof. The only downside is the buggy wifi connection in the rooms, in the hallways and the lobby it works just fine👍🏽

This is a hidden gem in Cartagena. My wife and I spent 7 wonderful days amongst what I can call family. The staff made us feel welcomed upon our initial entry into the property. This is not just a review, it’s a sincere thank you to the staff of B Haus and Amasa Restaurant. Our travels brought us to Cartagena for a mini vacation and more importantly our youngest sons wedding. We had initially rented an Airbnb, when we arrived not only was it NOT what was advertised, it did not meet our expectations. So in our desperate search we found the B Haus gem. Upon our entry we encountered Nancy at the front desk, she could of not been more helpful. She showed us around the property and the room we ultimately rented. During our check in process we were greeted by the Amasa staff Alexandra and Jean Carlos, they had prepared a wonderful welcome refreshing drink. That first evening I met Sammir, while working the front desk overnight, he was always available to answer any questions or just have a conversation about the great history of Cartagena. What can I say about about Yesaira from housekeeping, she always kept our room clean, her attention to detail is a wonderful thing for the guests peace of mind. Amasa Cafe was the go to breakfast spot, Alexandra and Jean Carlos were always on top of anything we needed during the meal. Absolutely amazing work put forth by the staff. My wife and I booked B Haus for a seven-day stay during our honeymoon in Cartegena. Ended up switching to a different hotel after just one night. The room was so noisy, with sounds from the lobby and other rooms making sleep impossible. We heard footsteps in the corridor in the middle of the night and scratching at our door, which was worrying in a room without deadbolts.
