Good escape from the hustle and bustle of Cartagena. Very relaxing. Food and service depends on who you have serving you and what food items you order. As some service staff are very attentive and some food items are excellent, where it can be contrary. Front desk staff is very helpful and understand true customer service. Boat ride to island is good. No worries because it's the hotels transportation, not other people trying to get your money. Rooms are clean, property is maintained. If you don't like dogs, I wouldn't recommend. The property protects and takes care of certain dogs on the island. I would definitely return. Great vacation!

Having visited Baru Island, there is no comparison with this corner of Tierra Bomba, which is really expensive for what it is! The quality of the sand is similar to that used for construction, the beach beds and towels are aging, an armada of adopted dogs who accompanied us everywhere, even when swimming, very limited offer in general - I do not recommend!

This is such an amazing property and location! This great hotel also has some of the best service you will find in Colombia. Leda did an outstanding nature of making sure we had everything we need at all times. We only stayed here for two days prior to our reservation at a different hotel. My only regret is not staying here the entire time. Book a room for a week. You will not regret it!

We had a late night dinner here, very romantic evening, most pleasant atmosphere, our waiter was terrific, best ceviche(fish) we had in Colombia 🇨🇴 we enjoyed our anniversary outing. Our food was delicious 😋

The beach club is great, l've been here 3 times in the past 6 months but not at the hotel. Great view, clean beaches, nice water, and good food + drinks. I don’t like hamburgers from Colombia but theres was fire🔥 Only 1 person selling stuff that doesnt bother you and the staff is great as well. No bugs or anything like that, included beach cabanas, and towels. I highly recommend. We purchased the basic day pass and joined with our child, it was a good time. It rained a little but the staff was very accommodating. David did a wonderful job at communicating with the chef so that we would have a plant based meal that we would all enjoy! David and team Fenix are amazing!

We discovered Fénix Beach Club completely by chance on a last-minute day trip, and what a fantastic decision it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, Valentina, the Guest Experience Hostess, made us feel genuinely welcome. Her warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism set the tone for what became one of the most memorable days of our visit to Cartagena. The beach is nice, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the entire team provided excellent service throughout the day. The food was delicious, the music created the perfect beach vibe, and enjoying a massage right on the beach was the icing on the cake. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches included with the day pass, such as fresh towels and a welcome drink. One of the things we loved most was the mix of guests from all walks of life, creating a friendly, laid-back atmosphere with great energy. Fénix isn’t about luxury or excess, it’s a no-frills beach escape that feels wonderfully authentic. It gives you the sensation of being far off the beaten path, yet it’s only about a 20-minute boat ride from the port of Cartagena. We enjoyed ourselves so much that next time we plan to stay for a couple of nights to experience everything the property has to offer. We did not stay the night so I cannot genuinely review them, except by what another guest told me. A special thank you to Valentina. Your genuine hospitality made all the difference, and you are a tremendous asset to Fénix Beach Club. We sincerely hope you’ll be there when we return because you made this experience one we’ll always remember. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed, authentic beach club experience just minutes from Cartagena.
