I had a wonderful stay at Movich Hotel. The Front Desk team Mauro, saymon, Javier and Juan were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional from the moment I arrived. They made me feel valued and were always happy to help with anything I needed. I also want to recognize the Food & Beverage team, especially lizaura and Annie the staff at the rooftop. They were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made every visit special. Their outstanding service, warm attitude, and attention to detail created an amazing experience. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. I would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

What a phenomenal service! I have enjoyed 5 days at Cartagena in this hotel and whatever i needed was provided!!! Taxi, shampoo, advises, tour guidance, spa, massage, room service. The security was excellent every night the main entrance was locked and someone at the door who would open and get us inside. We felt safe and well taken care of. The wedding reception was phenomenal, the view breathtaking, the staff super nice and stayed until the end with us! The music the live band the group that came! Everything was 10/10

The hotel is excellently located—you’re literally in the heart of everything. Breakfast is served à la carte, allowing you to choose whatever you like from the menu. They also provide biscuits, coffee, tea, and flavored cold water in the lobby and by the pool, which is a lovely touch. The coffee is outstanding. The hotel also features a pool with one of the best views in the city, and the rooftop restaurant serves very good food at reasonable prices. The staff are wonderful—very polite and attentive—and they speak English, which is quite rare in Colombia.

We had an exceptional experience at the Movich. The room was spacious with luxurious bedding, balcony with historic views and excellent housekeeping. The breakfasts were made to order with plenty of tasty selections Most of all was the warm friendly staff, Martín, Nelson and Xavier who helped to create a wonderful, memorable vacation in Cartagena

Excellente location in Cartagena old town. The food (breackfast and lunch) is delicious!!. The best part of our stay was the attention, congratulations to all the staff member. Highly recommended.

Visited the rooftop bar for sunset drinks, did not stay in the hotel. |Seemed like a fantastic accommodation mind! |Wide range of drinks at a bit of a high price, but to be expected with the glorious views of the city. Would 100% recommend for a few at sunset to see the sky transform.

The rooftop views are incredible and make for the perfect place to unwind while taking in the beauty of Cartagena. A special thank you to **Saymon**, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. The hotel has a warm, welcoming vibe, is located in an excellent area close to everything, and truly made us feel at home. My stay at Movich Hotel started with a small hiccup at check-in, but what happened next genuinely surprised me. Without me asking or expecting anything, the staff took it upon themselves to make things right — upgrading me to a premium room that left me completely speechless. The view from the room is nothing short of breathtaking. Imagine waking up on your birthday (like i did) to a sweeping panorama of Cartagena’s iconic walled city — centuries-old cathedrals, charming colonial rooftops — with modern skyscrapers shimmering on the horizon. It’s the kind of view you just sit and stare at. I’ll be attaching photos because words honestly don’t do it justice. Beyond the wow factor of the room: breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day, the bed is incredibly comfortable, the pillows are gloriously plush, and the AC works perfectly (essential in Cartagena’s heat!). Most importantly, the staff throughout my entire stay were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. If you’re planning a special trip to Cartagena, this is the place. And yes — splurge for the room with the view. Trust me, it is absolutely worth every peso. Stayed June 14-15 2026.
