The hotel is beautiful and very clean! The location is very good as it is near most everything and it is in a quiet area for the most part as you try to go to bed. It is very safe and you feel that way the whole time. There is a beautiful pool and nice area to lounge around. There is a nice bar and grill at the bar area. Our reservation came with free breakfast and it was a very nice breakfast! The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The concierge was very informative, and the butlers were extremely attentive. The room was very nice and spacious enough for the two of us. There was good water pressure for the shower and good hot water. The cleaning staff was also fantastic! We stayed more towards the off-season and the atmosphere was very nice and not extremely lively, which we enjoyed. We never had a problem getting a table at breakfast or getting chairs at the pool. It is not an inexpensive hotel, but we felt like we received pretty good value. We would stay there again if we had the opportunity.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so. Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary, and they exceeded our expectations in every way. We have been to Sofitel a few times, and we are never disappointed. They gave us a beautiful upgrade and wow, just amazing! Jesus, Alejandro and the rest of the team were absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much from the Griffin Family!

i’ve been a guest at the Santa Clara multiple times and it never once has failed to leave me awestruck. The service is impeccable. The rooms are spotless and beautiful. Every amenity one good one is available. The Butler staff is there to truly help you with anything as well as the rest of the staff who always tries to remember each person‘s name and in Rome, how often does that ever happen anywhere the breakfast is delicious and beautifully prepared. There are so many items on their buffet and it’s always been replenished the food. The restaurants and the food at the pool are also wonderful.

My daughter and I stayed 3 nights here. The staff was so attentive. The housekeeping service especially the turn down service made our service so special. We enjoyed it immensely. Spoiled us so much that we are at our next hotel and miss the staff and service at Santa Clara. They also put a little coconut candy by your pillow at night. It was so lovely. The tropical ceviche at the pool bar was delicious:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent spa resort! The property was beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained. Although I didn’t stay overnight at the resort, my experience was excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful, and it was a great place to unwind and enjoy the amenities. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The Sofitel Santa Clara is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve seen anywhere in the world, and El Coro Lounge Bar is a true gem! The laid-back Caribbean atmosphere, tropical vibes, fantastic music, and excellent cocktails make it an unforgettable experience. A special thanks to Ronald and Oscar for their outstanding hospitality, and to John for his exceptional bartending. Amazing service, incredible atmosphere, and the perfect place to enjoy the magic of Cartagena. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Sofitel Legend Santa Clara far exceeded our expectations - from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such amazing hospitality and felt at peace. This was our first time to Cartagena, and I would 200% come back just to experience Sofitel again. Our room was spacious, clean and gave the Colombian culture feel while still being modern. The pool was our favorite place to lay every afternoon. The service was top notch around the pool too, bringing us new drinks as soon as we were close to empty, and offering us cold towels/snacks every hour. The food was EXCEPTIONAL - every meal we had was better than the last, and we didn't think that was possible. The breakfast was the best selection I have ever seen, with fresh fruits, breads and egg dishes rotating constantly. Our room was always cleaned when we got back to it, and the turn down system was right on time every night - ensuring we had clean towels and water every time. We were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary, and the staff surprised us with a beautiful dessert plate upon arrival in our room. The small details were everything here - and we can't wait to come back someday! Thank you Sofitel Legend Santa Clara, for an experience of a lifetime.
