Good location as it is close to shops and places to eat. Good size room. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet with good selection of filipino and intercontinental food. The floor however was sticky, good thing slippers were provided. There was hair stuck to the shower door, it needs proper scrubbing as soap stain is visible

We loved our stay at Bayfront Hotel Cebu Capitol. It's conveniently located about 40 minutes from Cebu Airport, making it a great base for exploring the city. Upon arrival, the staff were very helpful and assisted us with our large luggage, which was much appreciated. We stayed for 4 nights, and the room was spacious enough for 3 adults and 1 toddler. It had everything we needed, including a fridge, kettle, and a clean bathroom with a good shower. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room tidy throughout our stay. One thing we found very convenient was the laundry service located across the road. You simply drop off your dirty clothes, and they wash, dry, and fold them for a very reasonable price, with the cost depending on the weight of the laundry. The hotel is also close to several major malls and the Port of Cebu, making it easy to get around and explore. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would happily stay here again.

Overall the hotel is okay. Clean. I can recommend it. Cleaning on request with refill water bottles and instant coffee.Pool on the rooftop would be maintained better. Big wall and dirty windows kinda destroy the view. Also that hotel rent a pool for private events so u don't know if u can use it or not the next day.Breakfast could be more varied, and what runs out could be replenished. Some items available in the morning aren't replenished after eating.

1. Front Desk / Guest Relations * Front desk staff need further training in handling of guests. * There seems to be inconsistency in the registration and room-charge procedures. We were asked to register upon arrival, but when charges are made to the room, the registered guest was not allowed to sign the room charge, which was confusing and inconvenient. * There was also an instance where staff key in incorrect room number on our keycard, More attention to accuracy during check-in is needed. 2. Rooms & Facilities * There was a faint smell noticeable in some hallways and rooms. * Air-conditioning performance is inconsistent. Some rooms are sufficiently cold while others were not. 3. Restaurant / Food & Beverage * Some dining chairs were dirty and need more frequent cleaning. * Waiter service is inconsistent. Some staff were attentive and professional, while others need additional training. * There was also a hygiene concern, I personally saw a staff touching their nose and subsequently handling the water gallon. Proper hand hygiene and food-service sanitation protocols should be strictly reinforced. * À la carte food: Generally acceptable and reasonably priced. Waiting time was approximately 20–30 minutes. * Buffet: Food quality is inconsistent—some dishes were good while others were not as appealing. The selection is somewhat limited, although there is enough food to be filling. consistency in food quality could improve the experience. Overall Recommendation All staff need additional training, particularly in: * Guest relations and proper communication * Registration and room-charge procedures * Accuracy and attention to detail * Professionalism and proper guest handling * Hygiene and sanitation * Consistency in service standards The main concern was not necessarily the price or the overall facilities, but the inconsistency in service. Overall, the stay was acceptable, mainly because the hotel provided parking and was conveniently located near the our destinations. However, considering the price, we hope for a better service.

Just generally poor. We used this hotel as a central hub as well travelled around a few islands with family and friends.|Two families refused to stay and changed hotels. |Food choice for breakfast ran short and slowly replaced, if at all. |The outside drains came through the Aircon units in multiple rooms. |Maintenance staff making noise outside rooms while we tried to sleep and unless you had a high level floor, outside traffic could still be heard. |Door staff were pleasant and helpful, but reception staff were not.|We paid a 1,000 pesto mandatory deposit, which was claimed we hadn't paid the following day. |The rooms were clean. Only positive.|This is my 3rd trip here and so many other better options with greater value for money. |Genuinely hope if others read this they look elsewhere and if the hotel customer care team do, they seriously review practices.

We stayed at the Bayfront Hotel last May. The rooms are spacious and well-suited for business travelers. When we checked in, we discovered that the air conditioner in our room was not working properly. However, due to our busy schedule and long days of business travel, we were rarely in the room and too exhausted to request a room change immediately. The following day, the hotel manager(male) proactively approached us and offered options, including transferring to another room or having the air conditioner repaired while we were out. We truly appreciated their initiative and willingness to accommodate our needs. The manager was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Excellent customer service like this makes a big difference. We really appreciate the effort and hospitality of the staff. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I booked this hotel because I was able to cover my 3-night stay using my travel points, which I truly appreciated. As someone travelling for only a short period of time and without much available cash on hand, I do wish the hotel accepted credit cards as a form of deposit. That would have made the experience much more convenient for travellers like myself. I was thankful to receive a room upgrade, which I appreciated. However, upon entering the room, I noticed stains on the bed, and several areas, from the kitchenette countertops to the bathroom surfaces, were not properly cleaned. Even the glasses and mugs appeared unclean. I called and requested for the room to be retouched. While housekeeping addressed the bed and kitchenette, unfortunately the bathroom was still overlooked. I also noticed that the room did not include hand towels, face cloths, or conditioner, which I personally consider standard hotel amenities. That was disappointing. When I requested extra towels, I was informed there would be an additional charge. I’m not sure if this is standard practice for the property, but having only two bath towels during the stay did not feel sufficient from a hospitality standpoint. On the second day of my stay, I received a call informing me that there would be a fire drill. I completely understand the importance of safety procedures and had no issue with the drill itself. However, if this was a planned or scheduled drill, I believe better communication could have been provided ahead of time, perhaps through a pre-arrival email, a slip-under notice for in-house guests, or at minimum during check-in. This would allow guests, especially those working remotely or attending meetings, to plan accordingly. During the drill, the announcements were clear, but they were repeated continuously and non-stop without intervals. In my opinion, repeating the announcement two or three times at spaced intervals would have been more effective and less disruptive. As someone who works in hotel operations and manages front office teams myself, I pay close attention to these procedures. I recently updated our own SOPs for fire alarms, evacuations, false alarms, and drills, so I naturally notice operational details like these. That said, I did enjoy the breakfast very much, especially the Filipino breakfast options. It brought a sense of comfort and familiarity during my travels. The staff members I interacted with were also kind and pleasant throughout my stay.

The hotel location maybe is the best part of this place. Front office was slow. Room was small (and we're upgraded, but nothing feels upgraded). Bathroom was a bit dirty and the tap was not fitted well. Breakfast was chaotic with limited menu.
