Arrived later in the evening but still received fantastic service! Extremely friendly and respectful employees ☺️ My wife and I were only able to spend one night this trip, but were still given a double upgrade on our room which was clean and fresh! Used room service for our late dinner as we were very tired from a long day and a tiring flight and the food was excellent 👌.We are planning another trip to Cebu in June and are getting our reservation as soon as possible. Excellent location, especially if you have to visit the American Consulate as they share the same building. ❤️

We stayed at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino for 2 nights during our road trip around Cebu, and overall it was a comfortable and convenient stay. The location is excellent, especially if you want easy access to restaurants, shopping malls, and nightlife around the city. The lobby feels grand and welcoming, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds that helped us rest after long drives. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of food choices, and we especially appreciated the local Filipino dishes. The hotel amenities, including the pool and gym, were also nice additions for relaxing after a busy day exploring Cebu. One of the highlights of my stay was the relaxing aromatherapy massage at the spa. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of travel, and the atmosphere was calm and soothing. The therapists were professional, and the whole experience added an extra touch of comfort to our trip. We also appreciated the convenience of parking and the easy access to major roads, which made it a great stop during a road trip. Wi-Fi connection was decent, although it could be faster during peak hours. Some parts of the hotel may feel a little dated, but the overall experience was still pleasant and worth the stay. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Cebu.

The hotel was very dated. It was built in 1998 and I don't think they've done a refurbishment since they built it. The rooms are tired and the bathrooms are very small! However, the service is excellent! It's in a good location in IT Park. It's a 10-minute walk to all kinds of food places, ATMs and etc. The casino is in terrible condition. I'd say 15 to 20% of the machines are inoperable. The favorite table game here is baccarat. They have one craps table which is only open a few hours a night. They do have a large poker room. I did not play but I did notice it was busy fairly regularly. My biggest thing is I don't understand why they don't repair the machines as needed. They can't generate income if the machines aren't working. And I noticed many of the machines just needed to have their paper refilled. But overall, I enjoyed the experience. The breakfast buffet is very average. As a problem with most buffets, the food is generally not hot.

Stay was perfect. DM Jericho assisted us with our reservation. Front Desk Adulla checked us in and was seamless. He also heads up us about the hot shower not working in the room. Appreciated the proactiveness. Cheesecake setup in the room is also delicious. Overall, stay was great and would highly recommend for those wanting to visit the heart of Cebu.

2026 August - this is another hotel where Cebu’s heritage, elegance, and old-world glory still live on. The moment you step into the lobby, you’ll notice the classic interiors, beautiful paintings on the ceilings, and that grand, timeless elegance. It may feel old compared to modern hotels, but that’s exactly what gives Waterfront its unique charm. Our room was complete with everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus a nice view of the city. For dining, Uno Restaurant offers a great buffet spread, while the hotel’s bars are perfect for drinks and unwinding. And of course, there’s the casino, gym, and that classic pool area—bringing back the feel of a grand Cebu hotel from its glory days. Waterfront may be a little old-school, but its heritage, character, and elegance are truly something special.

We had such a great stay here! Our room was upgraded from a Deluxe Room to a Suite, which was a really nice surprise. The room was amazing, and we really enjoyed our stay. Their Filipino burrito was also so good and definitely a must-try! Would highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again.

We stayed at the Waterfront Hotel & Casino Cebu for one night and booked their most basic room. For the price we paid, it was acceptable, but we wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer. The biggest downside is that the rooms feel quite dated. The furniture and facilities are clearly showing their age, and as a result, the overall cleanliness doesn't feel as good as it could. Our room also overlooked what appeared to be a dump site, despite my request (if possible) for a nicer view. On top of that, the windows were extremely dirty, making the view even less enjoyable. That said, the hotel has plenty to offer. There is a nice pool, a gym, a casino, and several restaurants, making it a convenient place to stay if you're looking for a hotel with many on-site facilities. Overall, it's decent value if you're looking for an affordable overnight stay, but the rooms would definitely benefit from a renovation.
