I had such an amazing stay at Lina Ryad & Spa and would absolutely give it 5 stars. The only disappointment was that the spa was closed for renovations during my stay, and I wasn’t informed of that when I booked. That said, everything still worked out because I went to Toda Spa nearby, which was less expensive and honestly one of the highlights of my trip. Aside from that, my stay at Lina was PERFECT. I stayed in a suite that was so comfortable, I'm not exaggerating, I genuinely felt like I was in my own house. On my first night, I ordered fresh spaghetti bolognese and it tasted amazing, then later I booked the private pool for myself at no extra charge, which was SUPER relaxing. The pool was awesome, the huge shower in my suite was awesome, the rooftop view was awesome — honestly, everything was awesome. Breakfast was included with the room and it was large and delicious, and I also loved that I could watch YouTube on the TV in my room. The location is perfect too, right in the middle of the Old Medina, so everything is close by. Even with the spa issue, I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back. If the spa is something that interests you, I would just ask in advance if it's open.

We stayed 2 nights at Lina Ryad and the highlight of our stay was the Spa. We highly recommend one of the packages if you’ve been traveling and need some respite. Affordable and fantastic! Secondly and maybe even more importantly, the majority of the staff, if not all, are women, and there was no language barrier for us and other multi cultural guests. I love women in charge! The optional dinner menu (healthy choices) was another bonus and it made the decision of where to go after a long day, much easier and it was great as well.

ovely oasis tucked in a quiet part of town, spa was perfect, rooftop terrace was spectacular. Staff was lovely and accommodating. I highly recommend you eat there as well, at least one night while you’re there to avoid the chaos of the square. Rooms and beds were comfortable with a few minor maintenance issues

We stayed 3 nights here and absolutely loved it ! |It is perfectly situated in the centre of chefchaouen and is an oasis of peace.|We had top room number 5 which was very large and bright. The bed and bedding was so comfortable!|Nice bathroom with robes and good shower and good amenities and makeup mirror.|There is tea and coffee making facilities and a safe.|We had a lovely big private terrace overlooking the city.|We had dinner there every night and was the best we had in Morroco!|The chicken tajine, the vegetable one and the anchovy really good . The Moroccan starters delicious and all deserts were amazing! It was lovely to have it delivered to your room or to the terrace.|Breakfast was very good too with good choice of Moroccan breads etc…|The hamam was really good and the masseuse one of the best I had as really gentle .|Unfortunately the pool was too cold to use as would have been better if |heated .|The staff were all ladies and were very good !|So this was a perfect ending to our trip in Morocco! Bravo ladies !|A must in chefchaouen!

We enjoyed our stay here and the location is great. One step outside of your door and you're in the mix. We had a small little mix up at checkin which is the only reason I'm giving it four stars, otherwise it's a great hotel with and I would definitely come back here again!

This riad is right near the prettiest streets, serves good dinners, and has comfortable spacious rooms with great service. My favorite thing about this hotel was the Hammam and other spa treatments. I also appreciated the modern heating system in the rooms, the extra living space in the rooms, and how comfortable the bed was. Be ready to climb a lot of stairs, and also if you have an exterior facing window you will hear the call to prayer super early.

Where can I eat near Lina Ryad & Spa?

The hotel's own restaurant serves traditional Moroccan cuisine, a convenient option right on site. Just steps away, Chez Fouad and Restaurant Tissemlal are both about a one-minute walk from the door. Café Restaurant Sofia is also nearby, roughly a minute's walk, and offers local dishes. For more choices, the main square, Plaza Uta el Hamman, is a two-minute walk and is lined with casual eateries serving tagines and other Moroccan fare. You can easily wander the medina and pick a spot that catches your eye.

What is the area around Lina Ryad & Spa like?

You are right in the heart of Chefchaouen's old medina, with Plaza Uta el Hamman and Place El Haouta each a 2-minute walk away. The narrow, blue-washed alleys are full of local life, and the Chefchaouen Medina is literally steps from the door. The hotel's own restaurant serves traditional Moroccan cuisine, and nearby you will find Chez Fouad and Café Restaurant Sofia for other meals. The area is pedestrian-friendly, so exploring the Kasbah and the surrounding sights on foot is easy. For a change of scenery, the Akchour waterfalls are about 11 km away, a trip best done by car or tour.

How do I get to Lina Ryad & Spa from the airport or main train station?

From Sania Ramel Airport in Tetouan, about 69 km away, take a shared taxi or pre-booked transfer to Chefchaouen; the hotel can arrange an airport shuttle. If arriving by bus at the Gare Routière, a petit taxi gets you to the medina edge, then it is a short walk to the hotel on Rue Moulay Hassan I. The hotel team can meet you at the town square and help with luggage through the pedestrian streets. From Tangier airport, about 120 km, a shared taxi or bus brings you to Chefchaouen, then follow the same route.

What's there to do near Lina Ryad & Spa in the evening?

In the evening, you can stroll to Plaza Uta el Hamman, just a 2-minute walk away, where the square comes alive with cafes and restaurants. The hotel's own restaurant serves traditional Moroccan cuisine, a great option for dinner without going far. For a relaxed end to the day, the rooftop terrace offers views over the medina. You could also join a local tour like the Chefchaouen Private Tour with Local Guide or a private photo tour to see the Blue City after dark. The nearby Place El Haouta is another pleasant spot for an evening wander.

Is Lina Ryad & Spa a good base for exploring Chefchaouen?

Yes, Lina Ryad & Spa is an excellent base for exploring Chefchaouen. You are just a 2-minute walk from the Chefchaouen Medina, Plaza Uta el Hamman, and Place El Haouta, putting you right in the heart of the blue city. The Kasbah and Grande Mosquée are also within a short stroll. For the Akchour Waterfalls, which are about 11 to 12 km away, you will need to arrange a taxi or join a tour, as they are not within walking distance. The hotel can help organize excursions to these farther sights, making day trips easy.
