Here's what this made one of the best hotel experiences in Morocco and not only in Chefchaouen: staff were the nicest people I've met in Morocco, very thoughtful and kind, they went above and beyond to make the stay exceed our expectations, hotel is located conveniently within 20mins walk from all the attractions, has free parking, complimentary breakfast(which was delicious), and a gorgeous rooftop view. Rooms were very clean. And staff shared a well thought itinerary to check out all the spots of the city, which was very helpful. I would definitely book again and highly recommended. Rooms are bit dated, but it's not a 5 star hotel, it's a Riad rather.

We were so grateful to find this absolute gem, after a horrible experience with a very dirty Airbnb. They got us in at the last minute, and we have been so pleased with our decision! Everything is super clean, the staff provided us with water upon arrival, and sent us a detailed itinerary we could follow with locations of places we should visit. They carried our luggage to our room for us and helped direct us to local street parking. It is a very calm, but happy environment and we saw people from all over the world. The free breakfast was amazing and, honestly, more than we could even eat. It is served on the rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains and the city. The women that prepared breakfast and clean the rooms are so sweet. They even did our laundry for us for a small fee. Chefchaouen can get cold, so we appreciated that our room had a heater and it also has air-conditioning. We also had a balcony and refrigerator. The hotel is within walking distance to all of the tourist attractions, but you definitely need to wear sturdy shoes because there are a lot of hills. Highly recommend!

Super nice staff! We were greeted by Ahmed with such enthusiasm! The other guys there at the reception are also adorable, and so are the ladies working upstairs on the terrace kitchen. The hotel is super comfortable with wide easy stairs. The staff carried out bags upstairs for us. It's not in the old medina but in the new town so your taxi can drop you off right in front of it. Our suite was big and had all we need, including good dark rolling shutters for the night. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace si bring a jacket! The advantage is that you can enjoy the beautiful morning skies and rooftops while enjoying a delicious breakfast. There a kitchen on the same level where you can borrow a plate and silverware if you decide to come back with your own snack during the day. There a lot of One piece memorabilia in the reception area, really cute!

Very accommodating! Nihad and Simu, as well as the kitchen staffs made sure we had a great stay. There was a bit of electrical outage in the morning, but was quickly sorted. Also the rooftop has a very good view. Our best breakfast during our time in Morocco.

We had the pleasure of staying one night at Maison D’hôtes Afassi in Chefchaouen, and it was an unforgettable experience. Finding the riad was a bit tricky since GPS doesn’t work well in the area, but Ahmed personally came to meet us, guided us to the hotel, and immediately impressed us with his charisma and kindness. Ahmed went above and beyond by preparing a thoughtful itinerary so we could explore Chefchaouen efficiently without wasting time. He even provided a list of restaurant recommendations covering different cuisines. His hospitality truly sets this place apart. After a long day of driving and walking around the city for 2–3 hours, we were completely exhausted. Instead of heading back out, I messaged Ahmed, and he kindly arranged a meal for us — another gesture that showed how much he cares for his guests. I tend to notice the smallest details, and I can honestly say the rooms and riad were impeccably clean. Even the grout between the tiles looked spotless and fresh, which is rare to find. Breakfast the next morning felt like a home-cooked meal, lovingly prepared warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I cannot think of a single negative thing about our stay. Everything exceeded expectations, from the cleanliness to the hospitality. Maison D’hôtes Afassi is truly a gem in Chefchaouen, and I highly recommend it.

From the time we arrived here we felt like being at home! Ahmed is an amazing host very professional, courteous and caring. We were unable to find the hotel he told us to send him our location so he can pick us up as sometimes the gps doesn’t work in the narrow streets. Our stay at Hotel Affani was nothing less than amazing. I would definitely give them 10 🌟 rating. The rooms and bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was freshly made and served with a smile. Everything was cooked fresh and delicious! I usually don’t write long reviews but this place definitely deserves it!
