Google· 4 months agoA huge hotel with very big lobby and reception. Excellent location. Beautifully interiored lobby and reception and a big restaurant which can accommodate more that 100 guests at one time. Buffets are extremely lavish and offers a large number of variety. Food is very fresh and tasty and delicious. Really give star dishes. Rooms are very spacious, neat and clean and very comfortable. Room service is good. We stayed there with family in two rooms for three days on 5th,6th,7th of June, 2026. And really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

IHG· 2 months agoCrowne Plaza Chengdu City Center has a very convenient location, with easy access to Chunxi Rd in the city center. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay, which made the overall experience pleasant. And I would like to thank Ms. Xiong Xiaofang for her exceptional helpfulness in the room service. The family suite is very spacious, which made it especially comfortable for a family stay. The downside is the hotel’s hardware and facilities are showing their age, and no self-service laundry room on site. Some areas of the property and the room could benefit from renovation and updates. That said, everything was functional and reasonably well maintained. Overall, it is a good choice if you value a central location and helpful service.

A special thank you goes to Ms. Mia at the reception desk. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, professional, and exceptionally welcoming. Her friendly attitude, attentiveness, and willingness to assist made the check-in process smooth and enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure that I felt comfortable and well taken care of during my stay. The hotel's facilities were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall hospitality exceeded my expectations. Staff members were courteous and helpful, creating a pleasant and relaxing experience. Thank you, Ms. Mia, for your outstanding hospitality and dedication to guest satisfaction. Tripadvisor· 4 months agoWe much enjoyed our recent stay of several nights at the Crowne Plaza Centre City Chengdu. As platinum IHG members we were upgrade to a one bedroom suite; it had a very nice living room with tv etc plus a good sized bedroom, 2 bathrooms, one with a bath tub, etc. The rooms are not the most modern but nonetheless comfortable & well appointed. Location of the hotel is great, in the central city near lots of great shopping and restaurants. Breakfast buffet is copious though not amazing for my tastes. We took advantage of our lounge privilèges and went to the 21st floor each night for wine/cocktails/beer and small snacks. I’d return here on my next visit to the fabulous city of Chengdu!

IHG· 3 months agoHighly Racomanded. Very close to Taikoo Li commercial area not fare from a lot of attractions and the metro station is easy reachable. The Hotel is very clean and the staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast with great variety of food (both Western and oriental). Very interesting both the swimming pool and the gym. If you love sport they are worth trying

Trip.com· 4 months agoThe hotel is conveniently located near the shopping belt, with plenty of dining options within walking distance.The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Suki Tan, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade at check-in. The room was spacious, though the lighting could be improved as it felt quite dim at night.There was a good selection of TV channels, but it was disappointing that the TV was not HD, resulting in a fuzzy picture quality. Quite unexpected for a 4-star hotel.

Trip.com· 5 months agoThe Crowne plaza Hotel Chengdu is at a fantastic location. It's very convenient for visiting Chengdu. There's a high end shopping center IFS is within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The center has instant tax custom refund. Well , I took advantage of that and bought a lot of gifts for my family. This is an older hotel in an excellent location. Even though it has its age, the hotel is in excellent condition. The hotel is set back from the main road so it is very quiet. You will like the grand entrance. Front desk staff are warm and friendly. There's a lot of foreigners booking this hotel. I think because Crowne plaza Hotel is well known world wide. Breakfast buffet is a little lacking but the location can compensate that. Room size is adequate. I got a free upgrade. Room service and the hotel restaurant serves excellent food. I recommend this hotel.and I will be back.

IHG· 2 months agoThe location is great, but the hotel is quite dated, and the room had a musty smell from the old carpet. The breakfast experience was terrible — no seating guidance, no crowd management, and guests kept being admitted even when there were no available tables. The breakfast area looked like an open-air market. After reporting this to the F&B department, there was no noticeable improvement during our stay.Not to mention the poor communication between the reservations team and the front desk, which resulted in the wrong room type being assigned at check-in.
