CONS: - the attitude of the front desk staff is appalling. I think they didn't really care for us since we stayed at the back apartments rather than the hotels? I've never been to a hotel in China where the staff don't go above and beyond for you so this was definitely surprising. - they barely smiled, never answered my WeChat on time when I messaged them. - the amenities in the 4 bedroom apartment is laughable, how can you only give us 2 packets of tea bags per day for a 4 bedroom apartment that can fit 8 people? - they provided two cups. We had to ask for more to be delivered. - cutlery was non existent. They don't even give you new sponges in the kitchen after each customer so I had to buy my own. It was pretty used and gross. For a 5 star hotel you'd think they could afford to change their sponge after each guest leaves. POSITIVE: The butler who worked at the front entrance was so lovely and always so friendly with us and even recommended us local places to go. I believe his name was Haiqing Huang. Please pass our thanks onto him!

A decent business hotel. Don't let them give you the apartments are they are at the back of the property and a hike up a slope.

We booked a Raintree hotel apartment with 2 bedrooms as our family had 3 adults and 2 kids and it had a homely feel to it. They had one room with a king and another with either a single or queen. It's really comfortable complete with a kitchenette so we could order in during the winter. The rooms were wonderfully decorated japanese style and is spacious enough for my 15 month old daughter to run around. Their air conditioners had both heaters and cooling function and kept the rooms at a really comfortable temperature throughout even when it was 6-10 degrees outside. Lastly, I must give special mention to their 2 service managers Cao Li Han and Wang Jing Yu. They went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one.

The central a/c was turned off at the entire building where we were at—a four bedroom suite. I had to request multiple times for them to turn on the central a/c that would allow us to control temperature for each of the rooms in our suite. Surprised I had to ask for this!

I had stayed at 2 different service apartments with friends and it was the most amazing stay we've had for our entire trip in Sichuan. The room, fittings, amenities felt very premium for the price we had paid for. Would definitely stay again if I'm in Chengdu again!

Super clean and nice 1 room studio. We had a very comfortable stay. Hotel is abit far from the city, but taxi is very affordable and convenient. Will recommend to friend that is traveling to Chengdu.
