Google· 4 months agoWithout exaggeration, this is the best hotel in Chengdu and easily one of the best St. Regis properties in China. From the moment I arrived, everything felt truly toptier. The room facilities were exceptional elegant design, premium amenities, and attention to every detail. You can tell this property is maintained to an extremely high standard. What impressed me the most was the service. One morning I arrived late for breakfast and thought I had completely missed my chance, but the staff kindly offered to prepare a fresh meal for me anyway. That level of hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond made the experience unforgettable. Luxury can be built with money, but genuine service cannot and this hotel delivers both. Absolutely perfect stay. I will definitely return.

Trip.com· 4 months agoMy stay at The St. Regis Chengdu was a fantastic experience. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the St. Regis Suite. The suite was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable…a true home away from home.The breakfast spread was excellent, with a great variety of quality options. The highlight for me was the dinner seafood buffet, the spread was really impressive and the addition of hotpot made it even more special. Absolutely delicious.Service throughout the hotel was outstanding. From the warm welcome at check-in to the seamless check-out, every staff member we encountered was attentive and professional. Gym team who took the time to walk us through the facilities personally was a small gesture that made a big difference.Highly recommend The St. Regis Chengdu for anyone looking for luxury, comfort and genuine hospitality.

The St. Regis Chengdu· 4 years agoThe room was spacious and very clean. Service was very good, but at times hampered by a lack of English-language skills at the front desk. Room amenities were nice, but the shower and bath amenities were somewhat prosaic compared to other 5 star hotels in China. Service in the restaurant was excellent. The Christmas buffet was fabulous with great selections and very attentive and festive service. Happy hour selections were rather limited, and at times seemed to consist of left-overs from the lunch buffet. We would like to mention two employees who made our stay much more enjoyable: Star, of the Lobby Lounge, who remembered our names, preferences and always met us with an English-language newspaper and a big smile. Sam, a Concierge/Butler, who arranged our Sichuan Opera tickets. He even called up the room after the performance to see how we liked it. Excellent service above and beyond the usual St.Regis standard. The hotel extended our check-out time due to our late departure flight, very thoughtful and generous front-desk staff!

Traveling with children can sometimes be challenging, but the hotel staff made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable for both adults and kids.The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing plenty of space for our family to relax after a day of exploring Chengdu. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout our stay.What impressed us most was the warm and attentive service. The staff were always friendly and welcoming to our children, making them feel special and well cared for. Every request was handled promptly and professionally, which made our stay stress-free.The breakfast was a highlight each morning, with a wide variety of choices that catered to both adults and children. The hotel's facilities were also excellent, especially the swimming pool, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed.The location was convenient for visiting Chengdu's attractions, while the hotel itself provided a peaceful and luxurious environment to return to each day.Overall, The St. Regis Chengdu exceeded our expectations as a family-friendly luxury hotel. We highly recommend it to families visiting Chengdu and would gladly stay here again on our next trip.

A special thank you to Dylys Yang for being so warm, professional, and attentive. Dylys was very helpful and made sure everything went smoothly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I truly appreciated the thoughtful service and would definitely recommend The St. Regis Chengdu to others!

Having visited many countries around the world, I’ve also been traveling to various places in China quite often since visa rules were relaxed for South Koreans last year. My journey in China this time started in Xi'an, and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its 1-on-1 butler service. They provided me with my preferred daily beverages and helped me book restaurants and shows right away, allowing me to enjoy a very comfortable and seamless trip. This hotel stands out from others in many ways, especially with how every staff member always greets you with a warm smile. This is something you will likely feel as well when staying here. Everyone was extremely friendly and communicated with me using fluent English or translation apps, so there was no language barrier at all. Naturally, if I visit this city again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. For those who dislike cigarette smoke, you’ll love it here as this is one of the few non-smoking hotels in China, maintaining a very clean and fresh environment. (Of course, smokers don't need to worry either, as there is a designated smoking area right in front of the hotel.) A wonderful piece of news for Korean and international travelers is that you will be welcomed by Miss Allisa, a beautiful staff member fluent in both English and Korean who strongly resembles one of Korea's hottest pop stars, Jang Wonyoung. She is so pretty and kind that I am sure you will be amazed when you meet her. Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Kevin, who took a lot of his time to perfectly handle all my reservations despite my lack of Chinese skills, and to Ms. Allisa, who always treated me with a bright smile. My deep thanks also go to all the friendly staff members at the swimming pool and the restaurant.
