The location is perfect, in the heart of old town. There are restaurants. Tea house, bar, coffee house on site. Massage parlors close by and on site. The room was fabulous, the pool perfect the atmosphere is amazing. Loved e writhing about the stay especially the service.

Pros: hotel is visually stunning. Pool area etc and outdoor area is wow. Air con decent but a little noisy. Japanese style toilet. Free packet of crisps x 2 and nuts and 1 can of coke. |Cons: breakfast is at best,ok. Coffee machine spits out half a coffee cup. Pastries really poor. Chicken sausages worst I've tasted in Thailand. Room: bedding ok, but not great, could do with better quality. They only give you 1 teabag. Bed king size, but we are used to bigger. Shower annoying as water went hot then colder. 250 baht for a sachet of bubblebath. 😳 (The is a 7/11 literally next door could get 3 bottles of bubbles for that). Hand soap and moisturiser smelled... Odd. Didn't like it at all. Japanese afternoon tea is free but its not good at all. (Tried it once and didn't go back) Quite bland. Would be better french or british afternoon tea with little sandwiches and little cakes.

A fantastic place in the heart of Chiang Mai. Very attentive and friendly stuff! We could check in early and the room service was great! Very beautiful with a nice pool. Across the road there is a local temple - one of the most popular sights in the city. We wish we had had a room overlooking it, probably next time.

A beautiful boutique hotel with exceptional service. Chala Number 6 is a truly beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai. The property is beautifully maintained, charming, and full of character. Its centralized location made it incredibly convenient for exploring the Old City, with temples, restaurants, cafés, and shopping all within easy walking distance. What really made my stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and genuinely happy to assist with anything I needed. Their warm smiles and wonderful hospitality made us feel so comfortable and well cared for throughout our stay. The combination of the beautiful property, perfect location, and outstanding service made Chala Number 6 a wonderful experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely boutique hotel in Chiang Mai!

This is a really great hotel. The staff is very kind, attentive and shows a great deal of respect to the guests. The hotel is in a great location in the old city. The rooms a clean, quiet and very comfortable. Added amenities are the pool, spa and massage services. There is also a restaurant and café at the hotel. They really do have everything there for a most excellent stay.

A Peaceful Lanna Escape in the Heart of Chiang Mai Old City My stay at Chala Number 6 was one of the highlights of my trip to Chiang Mai. Located directly opposite Wat Chedi Luang, the hotel is just steps away from the city's vibrant atmosphere. Yet, the moment you walk through the entrance, you're welcomed into a peaceful sanctuary where the noise of the old town simply fades away. The architecture beautifully combines contemporary luxury with traditional Lanna design. One of the most distinctive features is the historic-style rice barn at the center of the property, creating a unique sense of place and reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Northern Thailand. I stayed in the **Deluxe Balcony Double** room, which was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated with warm tones. The private balcony overlooking the lush garden was a lovely place to relax, while the bathtub provided the perfect way to unwind after a full day of exploring. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Another memorable experience was the **WAYA Spa**. I enjoyed a one-hour traditional Thai massage, and the therapist's technique was excellent—firm, professional, and incredibly relaxing. It was exactly what I needed after walking around the city all day. Dinner at the hotel's Thai restaurant was equally impressive. The peaceful ambiance, attentive service, and carefully prepared authentic Thai dishes made for a wonderful dining experience. One of the hotel's greatest advantages is its location. Many of Chiang Mai's attractions, charming cafés, and historic temples are within walking distance. If you're visiting on a Sunday, the famous Sunday Walking Street Market begins right outside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient to explore local crafts, street food, and the lively atmosphere. Overall, Chala Number 6 offers an exceptional blend of luxury, authentic Lanna charm, and an unbeatable location in Chiang Mai's Old City. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay, and I would happily return on my next visit to Chiang Mai.

I had a wonderful peaceful 4 night stay at this hotel. It’s beautifully decorated and the employees service here is outstanding. I had a wonderful massage in the spa, a great meal in the restaurant, and a relaxing swim in the pool. It’s directly across the street from my favorite temple, that’s why I picked this place. And the beds are very comfortable.

Such a lovely time at Chala No. 6. What a beautiful place in Chiang Mai. Close to many wonderful stores and restaurants, also sits right across from many temples! The staff were so kind and lovely, and breakfast was wonderful each and every morning. Don’t forget to also check out the pool and the spa! Can’t wait to return.
