Overall, a fabulous stay. The room was very spacious, with lots of bamboo decorations. They provide flower tea boxes, milk and bath salts, etc., to ensure you feel well looked after. The staff are very polite and friendly, and I felt truly pampered during my stay – many of them even remembered my name and greeted me personally. I also recommend trying the daily cultural activities.The spa is fine but slightly expensive, so you may prefer alternatives in the Old Town or Nimman. The dinner is delicious, and the Yunnan-style soup is a must-try. The location is near the Ping River and a bit of a distance from the Old Town and Nimman district, but Grab is widely available. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai who wants a good rest.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with under 30 rooms, right beside the slow moving PING River. Beautiful landscaped grounds, incredible decor (3 floors only, with distinct colors in each floor of rooms), a fantastic boutique (Him Gong), but best if all is its people -- warm, helpful, always cheerful and so very personable. Front desk First, Charlie, Joyce, the drivers Chin & Supar, boutique staff Sai & GIFT, and all the incredible folks at the restaurant. What a fantastic hotel, and a place I will return every year!

The Raya Heritage is an amazing property. The property has its own personality and design theme that gets incorporated into everything, including the cutlery, the uniforms, the furniture, and the gifts. The nicest thing about Raya is the staff. Everyone here was beyond nice and accommodating. They paid attention to small details about our stay, including our plans for the day. They helped us plan a local event and handled the details for it seamlessly. There were so many small things that they do for us! The property is about 20-30 mins drive from the old city and the airport but there was rarely much traffic and Grabs were easy to call. We didn’t explore the area around the property but it did not seem like there was too much interesting for tourists to do within walking distance. They have shuttles to / from the old city throughout the day. The food and the coffee especially at the hotel were amazing. Very high quality and unique dishes / flavors. The in room dining was great as well. The massages are a bit on the pricier side but are high quality. Overall this is a great place to stay if you want a hotel that is quiet, aesthetically pleasing, has massage options and good food onsite, and do not want to be in the middle of all of the action.

Raya Heritage was really something special. The whole property feels like a beautiful, peaceful retreat next to the Ping River, with exquisite attention to detail throughout. Our Rin Terrace Suite was incredibly comfortable, to the point where we often just wanted to stay in and relax. The room, the design, the quiet atmosphere and the setting all worked beautifully together. The pool was also a welcome daily dip to cool off after being out in the Chiang Mai heat. We really enjoyed the food and drinks at the hotel. Breakfast at Khu Khao was excellent, and dinner there was a lovely, relaxed experience. High tea from Laan Cha Tea Terrace was another highlight and fitted the calm riverside atmosphere perfectly. The massages at Al Waan Spa were outstanding. It was one of the best spa experiences of our trip and added to the feeling that Raya Heritage is not just a hotel, but a proper retreat. The staff were warm, kind and attentive, and the whole stay felt thoughtful and beautifully run. Raya Heritage was special, peaceful and deeply relaxing. We absolutely loved it.

The suite was so gorgeous and relaxing that me and my friends stayed in for 2 days. The level of service and attention to detail was amazing, staff members were warm and attentive. 10/10 would come back.

I love Raya Heritage for many reasons. The ground is serene and peaceful, being there calms my nervous system already. It feels as if time stood still. Their hospitality is top of class, excellent service and genuine. I feel well-cared for every time I stay. The room is super comfortable, well-maintained and clean. I love the terrace and complimentary natural tea selection. A lot of care has been put in to the room amenities to make the stay as comfortable, tasteful and sustainable as possible. Every time I leave, I look forward to returning. Thank you Raya Heritage team for your excellent hospitality - it feels good to return every time.

We had an amazing few days at the Raya Heritage. The grounds are beautiful and impeccably clean! Rooms are very very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. A small complaint was that the AC was a bit nosey. The mini bar/ snacks were also outside/ on the balcony which was a bit strange but again not a big issue. We got a top floor room but the view of the river was somewhat obstructed by the trees and roof but that didn’t bother us. We were given the pool option but we were unlikely to use it so opted for the top floor. The hotel is 20-25 mins cab ride out of old town but never had an issue getting a Grab. It is nestled amongst a local area so you do get some noise during the day across the river but nothing unpleasant. The stand out for us were the staff. They were all so lovely and warm. Every time we met any of them they all remembered us and referred to us by name. Such a personal service. Big shout out for the breakfast too - it was a la carte service and immaculate. All the items we tried were very high quality and delicious. So much better than the monster generic buffets you get at other hotels. If we return to Chiang Mai this is the only hotel we will be staying at!
