The hotel belongs to the JINJIANG Group, which has a network of hotels spreading over CHINA. The most well known is the JINJIANG Hotel in SHANGHAI. This hotel caters mainly to the Chinese travellers; and meet the basis but not the high end of travellers. It is rated as three stars by Chinese standard! The location is good, as it is near the Yangjiaping pedestrian way and the light rail station. This makes it very convenient to travel around CHONGQING. The railway reaches to airport from Yangjiaping. The rooms are acceptable and the staff friendly; considering the price charged. Lots of shops and eating places around and in the pedestrian way. The latest SUPER MALL, Wan Shan Cheng (Chinese meaning:thousands elephants city) is only about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel provides free WI-FI and computer available at the reception lobby. Good value for money.

We stayed in this hotel a couple of nights in a double ensuite room. It felt quite luxurious compared to other places we have stayed on our trip. The room was large and very clean as was the bathroom. The shower was hot and powerful and toiletries were included. The room had a kettle for making drinks and noodles and the tv had an English speaking news channel. Laundry was very expensive so we hand washed clothes and dried them on our travel washing line in the room! I can't fault the hotel, it's just that it is aimed at the Chinese business market rather than at backpackers such as myself, which means that there is little English spoken at reception and no maps or information available in English. The hotel is in a good location, about a 10 min walk from the metro station.
