Great stay. I would gladly stay here again. Service was great. Room was very clean and comfortable. Thank you, Begonia. Despite being in an older building, the hotel looked like it was new. Breakfast was excellent. Bar and common area had a section for kids and games. Parking was just a cross the street and the hotel had a great deal with in and out parking for €15 per day. Everything was great.

The hotel is super cute and the service is impeccable. We arrived late night with a baby, after an Airbnb had a last minute canceling. The person at the reception, Ana, welcomed us really well and provided the support we needed with kindness and attention. We highly recommend their breakfast as well with local cheeses and breads. Very good experience overall!

Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space. Great location with easy walking to old town and a nice park across the street. Parking convenient across the street. Only thing not perfect was the small window high off the ground and set back in an alcove so no view, limited light, and can't open it. Since no closet for clothes, a second rack to put luggage on would be helpful.

The back of the hotel is being extended so at the moment there is no outside space for eating breakfast or having a drink. There are just two tables to sit at at the front of the hotel UNLESS you manage to get one of the ground floor rooms (503, 504, 505 and a couple more further back) which have their own private patios with a table and two chairs each. The rooms are quite basic but with all necessary appliances and comfortable beds. The staff are very helpful, friendly and efficient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Colmar.

Avoid!!! |Pros:|Location: Good, easily walkable to Colmar centre and Petite Venice (10 to 15 minutes flat walk)|Parking on site: We booked one of the four open air spaces as we had roof top box. Reserved as requested. Quite a tight fit but do-able. Expensive extra.|Noone on reception on arrival but staff member pleasant when she eventually did arrive. |Cons:|Felt very let down by this hotel booking. Touring round France and Switzerland, used 9 different hotels. This was by far the worst yet cost the most.|Expensive for one night and breakfast only. No restaurant.|Room not ready at check in time. Requested use of toilet on arrival to be told no public toilets as refurbishment going on. Led through back room to use staff toilet walking through corridor with active refurbishment going on.|Room ready 1.5 hours after check in time despite us realising the hotel was barely open. Could see nearly all rooms were unoccupied, bare, refurbishments etc - so why were our rooms late? |Rooms: Both rooms were budget at best. Dirty and old doors and windows. New decor inside but dark and unpleasant. Just horrible and uninviting. Air con worked but made rooms smell very weird.|No tea or coffee facilities. Offered use of hotel machine but would have to go outside across courtyard to access hotel bearing in mind dressed for bed. Pastries available were left uncovered.|Hotel: no atmosphere or ambience. We were given rooms outside so felt detached from hotel itself although it was clearly strategic as decorating.|Breakfast: below par, flies on food. Cooked food was bacon and boiled egg. No sliced bread despite a toaster.|Each of the glass drinks jugs had chips in the spout. No proper cups.|Rear door opened to courtyard and breakfast seating with white vans and works going on. Not pleasant to sit out.|An old car was parked in front of the underground hotel parking so clearly not in use and backs up theory barely any guests.|No mention of refurbishment on website and recently booked so info should be up to date. Feel ripped off.|Wanted to complain but went back into hotel three times and again noone on reception. Same again in the morning.|We gave up and left.|First time in an Ibis. Last time in an Ibis. Feel let down by All Accor as we booked via their app. We have used their other partnership hotels many times successfully so trusted the brand.|Save your money and avoid!!!

We booked two rooms for a Saturday night. The staff were very attentive and friendly at all times. The breakfast was also very nice with a good choice of pastries, cereals, fruits and even freshly pressed orange juice. The rooms however were a bit hit and miss. The triple room was spacious with a very large bedroom and big windows. The double room, although a superior one, was spacious but only had one window that was quite high up, so not projecting so much light into the room. The main downside however was the bathroom. The ventilation was absolutely not working, so the bathroom had a very musty smell. It’s a shame, as the room looked newly renovated. Hopefully they will be able to fix the ventilation issue in the future. It felt a bit like the hotel is a work in progress at the moment.

Wow, what a wonderful surprise. The rooms are a little bit small but than again they are Ibis style and very clean and quite. The breakfast very French. We did miss more vegetables but all the rest was fantastique. Merci beaucoup à tous.
