We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were amazing—spacious, beautifully maintained, incredibly comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The attention to cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding and truly appreciated. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. The hotel's location is another major advantage, as it is perfectly situated close to everything we wanted to visit, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, a fantastic experience thanks to the outstanding staff, comfortable accommodations, excellent breakfast, and ideal location. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location very close to little Venice and the old town. Everything is walking distance. I had a good sleep because the rooms were nice and quiet. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There was a nice little kids corner in the reception which helps when you’re trying to keep the kids occupied when planning. The reason why I gave one star down is I didn’t find it very clean. The carpets in the room didn’t seem to be well vacuumed. I got a dirty towel. Microwave wasn’t working in the room and the public toilet downstairs could have used with a mop and bins empty.

A wonderful hotel in a fantastic location, very close to the Little Venice area of Colmar. It’s important to reserve a parking space for your car before arriving at the hotel. The check-in process was incredibly fast, and we received a very warm and friendly welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are clean and spacious. We stayed as three people and were very comfortable. There is also a free water station next to the lobby elevator, which is a nice touch. The breakfast was good, with a sufficient variety of tasty options.I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Colmar.

Great room, although the head was on the hard side to my personal liking. The breakfast was great, and the location is really good close to little Venice. For our stay it was quite a big minus that the electric charging and parking option was not available due to a "fully booked" parking area, which apparently is rather limited.

Stayed in mid-may, 2026. Novotel Suites Colmar Centre The hotel is pretty new and modern. The room is modern and big, but beds are very very very stiff and tough. 2 seperate bathrooms (toilet/mini sink, sink/shower). Complementary coffee and tea in the room was pleasant. Wifi works pretty good, and the AC works only when you go on fan mode 2 or 3. Staff are incredibly nice and offer plates for the room. The breakfast was not my favourite, but it didn't look very bad. It was just very crowded and not much variety before they replenished it. The location is very good, being right in city center (5 mins walk to Le Petit Venise) Overall, hotel is new, great location, breakfast was mid.

We stayed here for three days and absolutely loved our time in Colmar. From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt warm and welcoming, and much of that was thanks to Cecil at the front desk. We do not speak French, and the staff was not only patient and kind, but also fluent in English. As someone who is bilingual, I always appreciate how much effort and care that takes. What really made this stay memorable was the hospitality. On our first afternoon, we asked Cecil where we should go for dinner. Colmar is very different from Paris or other large cities—you do not simply stumble into endless restaurant options because the town has a quieter, more intimate rhythm. Cecil gave us several recommendations, and after we dropped our stuff in our room, she actually stopped us on our way out because she had taken the time to write down detailed directions and mark places on a map for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and immediately made us feel less like tourists and more like welcomed guests. We were also hoping to explore some of the medieval castles around Colmar, one of France's oldest medieval towns. Again, Cecil walked us through different options and routes. Unfortunately, flooding and storms from the previous week had closed the path to the castle we planned to visit, but there were plenty of other things to do (wandering through the town was unforgettable). Overall, this was an amazing stay: beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, and an incredible town. We are already planning another trip to explore more of the surrounding villages and medieval towns, and we would absolutely stay here again. Before visiting France, I often heard stereotypes about French people being unfriendly or unhelpful, but every visit has shown us the exact opposite. Cecil, especially, displayed the warmth and generosity of the region. She was not only a fantastic hotel concierge but a genuine ambassador for her town and country. The management should absolutely give her a raise and a promotion.

I can't say enough about this hotel and the incredible staff - certainly Djamila and Shega and everyone else was wonderful too. It's about a 15 minute walk from the train station and its so close to the Little Venice area. So for location - A Plus. My room was beautiful - separate room for the toilet, a shower and a separate bathtub. Not to mention more space than I typically think of for Europe. Another A Plus. Now the staff, A++++ They are all so personable, knowledgeable and helpful. I would have written the review anyway but I had a small (or large) issue. I left my passport in the safe. They contacted me and were actively trying to figure out ways to accommodate me after my own mistake. They were so on top of everything. I definitely want to return to Colmar and there is no where else I would stay.
