November and December ease off a bit but still bring frequent showers.

Which area should I stay in in Colombo?

Stay in the Galle Face Green area for ocean views and easy access to the promenade, with hotels like Cinnamon Grand Colombo and Galle Face Hotel. The Fort district suits first-time visitors, close to the Lotus Tower and Floating Market, with The Kingsbury Colombo and Cinnamon Lakeside nearby. For a quieter, leafy stay, Cinnamon Gardens offers parks and temples, with Uga Residence and Paradise Road Tintagel Colombo.
