Fantastic city-center stay with smooth, high-efficiency service! We kicked off the first leg of our Sri Lanka trip at Hilton Colombo, traveling as a family with my parents and aunt. Although it’s a bustling city hotel, everything runs like clockwork with remarkable efficiency and friendly, attentive service! What We Loved: The Connected Layout: Our room setup was stunning and incredibly convenient—a spacious room with a living area and King bed connected directly to a twin room, giving us the perfect balance of family togetherness and personal space. Modern Amenities: The rooms feel recently renovated with a great look and feel, fantastic views, and exceptionally well-designed intuitive push-button showers (more hotels need these!). Dining & Entertainment: Dinner at Graze Kitchen: Special thanks to Selina! She made sure my parents’ specific dietary needs were completely taken care of with delicious Indian dishes. Atmosphere: Enjoyed wonderful live music at the lobby bar afterward. Breakfast: The morning buffet at Graze is lavish, varied, and absolute top-tier. Location: Superb central location in the heart of Colombo, yet the rooms remain wonderfully quiet and peaceful. A huge thank you to General Manager Manesh and his efficient team for setting the bar high for our Sri Lanka journey. We would definitely return!

Quite a mixed experience I had at Hilton, as I stayed there for about 3 weeks. Housekeeping was poor. Nearly everyday they missed putting fresh towels and dental kit, I had to call and ask for. The rooms were not properly cleaned, there are small cockroaches in the toilet. Bedsheets were not changed even on alternate days. The responsiveness was quite poor. Quite a bit lack of ownership from duty manager and team. The whatsapp chat was useful. Food quality was poor for room service, tried both Sri Lankan and regular menu. The staff at Graze (bf place) were excellent; always smiling and received prompt service inside the restaurant!! Food is just ok, expect a bit better from a Hilton!. The ambience is very enjoyable!! The health center is accross the road; interesting location. Crossing the garden and overbridge to reach the spot! Adequate facilities!! Overall, bit underwhelming experience on the very basic but essential amenities (room / housekeeping).

Had a long stay here for a business trip and it couldn’t have been better. Every single staff member has been friendly and attentive, the room is very comfortable and clean. The lobby area, pond with black swans and pool is lovely. Oh and the sushi offering at the buffet was amazing! Great value also. Wouldn’t hesitate to choose to stay here again.

I paid a visit to the Coffee Shop at Hilton Colombo recently with a couple of my foreign clients. Just thought of leaving a satisfactory review about my experience there. The level of hospitality I received was to the utmost and I was very impressed about the level of professionalism rendered especially by Kanzy who was at the front office. She took the initiative and time to personally assure our time spent there was a pleasant one. Heard from my clients that she rendered the same level of hospitality at the restaurant when they were there for lunch. Thank you Kanzy and the entire staff at the Hilton, Colombo for your esteemed service and hospitality! Appreciate it a lot.

Our stay at Hilton Colombo was, unfortunately, very average and not what we had expected. The highlight of our stay was the restaurant team, especially Ravindu, who provided exceptional service with genuine care and professionalism. We’d also like to give a special mention to Senuri from Guest Relations, (manager) who was kind, attentive, and did her best to assist us. They are both wonderful ambassadors for the hotel. However, aside from them, the overall service experience was disappointing. Last night we had a late dinner at the restaurant. While we understand it was extremely busy and appreciate that walk-in guests also needed to be looked after, as in-house guests we expected a little more attention. The service was very slow, and when my pasta finally arrived, it was undercooked. We also experienced unnecessary inconsistency during our stay. On several occasions, when we asked for a teapot at the bar or café, we were told it was against policy and that only two cups of tea could be served. However, the restaurant had no issue providing a teapot. It’s confusing when different outlets within the same hotel have different rules, and it made what should have been a simple request feel unnecessarily complicated. We’re checking out today to move to Shangri-La, and we’re leaving with heavy hearts. We chose Hilton expecting the high standard of hospitality the brand is known for, so this experience was disappointing. We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as we believe greater consistency in service and a stronger focus on caring for in-house guests would make a significant difference.

★★★★★ We had a wonderful lunch at Graze today. The food was absolutely amazing—delicious, beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyable. A special mention must go to Ravindu for his exceptional service. His attentiveness, warmth and genuine care were truly noteworthy. My mother and aunt, both in their eighties, were looked after with great patience and consideration, and he went out of his way to ensure they were comfortable and well attended to throughout our meal. Congratulations to Dhanushka and the entire Graze team for creating such a lovely dining experience. Excellent food complemented by thoughtful and attentive service made our lunch truly memorable. We look forward to returning!

The front desk staff wasn't much helpful when we checked in. He didn't give us much information about the hotel. There was no welcome drink served and after check in we had to figure out the rest ourselves like our room floor, breakfast, swimming pool, etc. We had to communicate directly to the housekeeping manager for our extra bed. I commend the housekeeping manager and staffs for a job well done. Basically, they compensated the unimpressive performance of the front desk by surprising us with some towel arts, flowers, and fruit everyday.

Exceptional stay and dining at Hilton Colombo! You can't beat the prime location, and the hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness. The rooms were spotless, and housekeeping did a super job keeping everything pristine. We also had a wonderful time at Graze Kitchen—the ambiance and interior are beautiful, the food taste is exceptional, and the staff service is top-tier. Highly recommended for both a staycation or an unbeatable dining experience in Colombo!
