I booked the place for one night and later needed to extend my stay. Shevon was very helpful in guiding me to a budget-friendly option to extend my stay, which I really appreciated as this is not something you normally get. The place was okay, and the staff and service were good. They also offered me a late checkout for a reasonable additional amount. Throughout my stay, The guy in the reception was very helpful and accommodating with every request I made. Overall, I really appreciated his support and the way he made everything easier for me. Looking forward for my next stay

We stayed at this wonderful hotel in the heart of Colombo for 2 weeks. Only got back to Melbourne yesterday.Its one of the best experiences we had at this hotel. The wondrrful friendly couteous staff, the very comfortable room, delicious food, great drinks and the list goes on. The best Latte we have ever tasted. Shaini the receptionist is just great. Very friendly, helpful and all the support she gave us during our stay is something we will never forget. We will be back time to time, and defenetely with my whole family next time. Thankyou to all the friendly staff for making our holiday so wonderful in every way.

Good place to stay at. The hotel setup is old style - vintage. So some might like it, some may not. I liked most of it. Room service is a little slow. The restaurant has good food options for lunch & dinner. Breakfast could be better. Overall good stay.

I only stayed here one night but it was a good night. The hotel is in an excellent location. Easy for the taxis to find and very central for walking. As well, it's in a neighborhood on quiet streets (traffic wise) with lots of good restaurants and cafes and bars around, so if you want to go out at night you can do it without having to get a car or feel unsafe. The hotel is very nice. They greeted me with refreshing juice and it had a nice decor. The staff were very helpful. My room was maybe the biggest room I've ever stayed in in my life I don't know why it was so large, maybe it was a wheelchair accessible room? Anyway, I loved the room; it was decorated with different tartans and it had some charm to it. The hotel had great hot water and amenities and the Wi-Fi worked well. I would stay there again.

It was a great stay at The Steuart by Citrus!! I stayed there with one of my friends on the 16th and 17th of May 2026, as we were attending D82 Toastmasters Ovation 2026 for two consecutive days in Colombo. Even though it was just a one-night stay, from check-in to check-out, the entire service was truly satisfying and filled with heart-warming hospitality! Especially, Ruhan and Rajasekaran Niroshankanth did their very best, from reserving the room to fulfilling our requirements during the stay. Also, I can’t forget the bellman/doorman (sorry, I couldn’t note his name), who handled our luggage with a constant smile and helped us without a single hesitation. The housekeeping staff was also professional and courteous, always attending to our needs on time with bright smiles and warm greetings. The night stay was really peaceful and safe, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. We were able to rest well and attend the event comfortably on both days. The rooms were clean, neat, and tidy as well. Quite a good stay! I would definitely recommend it to anybody! (Sad that we couldn’t stay long enough to taste the food.) THANK YOU, CITRUS!!!!

The room was clean, comfortable and very spacious; with an excellent shower! Breakfast was particularly impressive and delicious. Whilst one receptionist was a little rude, the manager and other staff were all superb and extremely helpful. The location is great too - walking distance to lots of things. I would happily stay here again.

Stayed here for one night during transit from Colombo. Its situated just beside the iconic Dutch hospital shopping centre/ Ministry of Crab. If you enjoy food and drinks, perfect place. The rooms were neat and clean, kind of british look. Though it’s a small space hidden behind the bar & restaurant. Bit on the higher side of the budget, but you are paying for the location. Galle face is about a km away. Great for a morning walk.
