Conveniently located right by the main train station with fantastic food options nearby, and the property itself is very nice and well-maintained. The room featured a wonderful soaking tub that was absolute perfection for relaxing after a long day of travel. Highly recommended!

A very comfortable hotel, well located for exploring the city. Very close to the main train station, Tivoli Gardens etc. Room was very clean with tea/coffee making facilities and decent toiletries. The bar had a good atmosphere in the evening. 2 glasses of wine for around £10 isn't bad. I was happy with the breakfast - cereal, yoghurt, cold meats, nice breads and pastries. Limited hot food.

Great location, within a 5-minute walk to the central station. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The suite is on the top floor (5th floor), which is a nice touch. The room layout was a little unusual, with a narrow walkway and sloped ceilings due to the roof design. The shower area, including the alcove tub, felt somewhat awkward and may be less convenient for taller guests. There was also an RGB light above the shower, which was an interesting design choice (who uses red lighting for showering?)The building has some old-world charm, though the room's floor creaked noticeably when walking around. The small balcony was pleasant, but the view was fairly average.Overall, a good stay for the location, though some aspects of the room design could be improved.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. Very close location to public transportation, and easy acess. AMAZING and FRIENDLY service which is the best highlight Id say. Also very cozy and nice design. Maybe the faucet in the washroom basin could be renewed, as seemed a bit old, leaky and difficult to open and close. Hygine was above average. Of course most of the rooms were too small, but its usual for 4-star economic hotels in Copenhagen. Id recommend it. And would go there again.

What a fabulous place to stay. 2 min walk to the train station station and very close to Tivoli Gardens. The Green concept is a great idea. We chose not to have our room cleaned on 4 out of 6 days and received a bar voucher. Breakfast was good. Good variety of choice from croissants to cereal to eggs, something for everyone. Staff are so lovely and friendly. Would definitely stay here again

This charming hotel is a gem and I strongly recommend it. First, the hotel is well located, very near the Copenhagen City Central train station. This makes it very convenient to travel to and from the Copenhagen airport. The rooms are cute, brightly-colored, modern, and comfortable. Moreover. the room was immaculate and very clean. There was little noise and the value of the hotel was great considering you get a buffet every morning with a variety of breakfast foods -- croissants, cereal, meat, cheese, yogurt, jam, etc. The staff was friendly and check in was a breeze. I will absolutely stay there again on my next trip to Copenhagen.

Decent hotel, typical Euro breakfast. Given the location, thought the pastries might have been better. Seemed sort of typical restaurant-sourced or catered pastries. The acon by American standards was undercooked and greasy. It is always nice to see bacon on a bed of paper towels or similar to drain or absorb excess grease. Very late arrival given the delays; the room was fully paid as we were part of a group, however getting the keys seemed to be a problem for the less-than-engaging staff member. The biggest disappointment was laundry; we had an extended journey and thought we would do a load before continuing on the tour. The hotel offered a machine in the basement for a fee which we were glad to use for 1 load of wash. Unfortunately, we discovered there was only one machine, and it is actually shared with the housekeeping staff. Good luck. They offered to send it out for us, we fully expected it to be expensive. The bill came to $150 USD for a couple of shirts, 2 t-shirts, and some socks! Nothing needed to be dry cleaned; they nicely pressed a couple of shirts that could have just been folded. This charge was beyond justifiable.

Absalon Hotel exceeded our expectations with genuine hospitality and solid quality – a well-run, classic hotel in the heart of Copenhagen. The overall offering is great, with thoughtful initiatives that also encourage more sustainable choices. For example, if you skip room cleaning, you can choose a discount at the bar or on a bicycle rental. Breakfast was excellent – relaxed, generous and without the usual morning rush. A great stay!
