Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The good: the staff were friendly, check-in was quick, and the location is excellent. It’s very close to the center, so we could walk almost everywhere. We also really enjoyed using the bikes, although they seemed better suited for taller people. The room was nice, but the wooden ceiling structure makes it feel a bit tighter than it is. The AC also didn’t cool the room very well, so we mostly relied on opening the window. The shower doesn’t fully close either, which causes some water to leak onto the floor. The biggest downside was the cleaning service. During our 4-night stay, the sheets and trash were only changed when we asked, and the facial tissues were never replaced after they ran out. For a hotel that feels more premium, the housekeeping could definitely be better. Still, the great location and friendly staff made the stay enjoyable overall.

We had a wonderful stay at the Admiral Hotel; the beds were very comfortable and the sea view was beautiful. It is close to the main tourist attractions, but what stood out most of all was the service provided by the entire staff. I have to mention Javiera, who looked after us on the terrace; she was very attentive and friendly, and provided us with plenty of information about places to visit. Fully recommended

Response from the property

Dear Josefa, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely feedback with us! We are truly thrilled to hear that you had such a fantastic stay on the Copenhagen waterfront and that you enjoyed our plush, comfortable beds and the breathtaking sea views. It is especially heartwarming to know that Javiera made such a memorable impression on your stay. Exceptional, personalised care is at the very heart of what we do, and I will personally ensure your wonderful compliments are passed along to her; she will be absolutely delighted! Your kind recommendation means the world to our entire team. It was an absolute privilege hosting you, Josefa, and we are already looking forward to welcoming you back to the Admiral Hotel for another beautiful getaway! Excellent hotel with unique design. Had a wonderful 5 nights stay. Reception staff are all very friendly and helpful. I travel with a bike and was able to use one of their meeting rooms to assemble my bike. Room is superb, clean, comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast has great selection. Location is excellent, at the centre and within walking distance to everything. Highly recommend Admiral hotel for anyone visiting Copenhagen!

The hotel has been done up recently and is even better than it was. Rooms are great, thought through in design, It has a lot of atmosphere as it was a warehouse in the old days, the wooden beams have been maintained. Breakfast is extensive, including many cuisines. The restaurant "Aye Aye" is excellent with friendly staff. The new bar called "Sir" is great. They are developing new cocktails and there is a feeling of enthusiasm. We stuck to their Old Fashioned cocktail and loved it. The hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk from Kongens Nytorv which is the start of the shopping district. The hotel's situation by the harbour means that the views on that side of the hotel are always interesting. The new swimming pool between the hotel and the harbour, looks inviting, but the weather was a bit too cold for us to want to swim.

Wonderful hotel. Staff are amazing and the food and drinks are first class. Only issue for us was there was no effective air conditioning. The ‘air cooling’ was not working so we needed fans to keep cool. Otherwise an outstanding place to stay and close to all the best spots in Copenhagen

Walk 5 min and you are at the center. Wooden construction all over the hotel is impressive. Rooms are clean and well decorated except the closets are not enough for 2. The coctail bar is also fascinating.

Response from the property

Dear Burc, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! It’s fantastic to know that our central spot made exploring easy, and that the aesthetic and drink menu at the bar hit the right mark for you. Making sure our spaces feel spotless and welcoming is a top priority, so we’re glad that came through during your stay. That said, we hear you on the storage space. Having enough room to unpack comfortably makes a huge difference when two people are sharing a room, and we’ll definitely keep your note in mind as we look for ways to improve our room layouts. We’d love to host you again the next time you’re in town! Warm regards, Meg Guest Relations

We had an OK stay at admiral hotel. It is a cool building (old corn storage?) and the rooms and hallways leaned into that. The hallways had these cool arch features (at least the floor we were on) but we couldnt appreciate them since they constantly had laundry carts, rug cleaners, and other carts under the arches all the time. That means you leave the room, and bam, cleaning carts. It made the already cramped and dark hallways just feel messy and dirty. The fact that you had to pay an extra 275+dkk for ONE TIME sauna and pool access felt like they were nickle and diming us. I get that they want to use timed reservations, but it felt like a cheapskate way to implement that. When we tried to check out with the automated system, it charged us for breakfast that was included, and while we were able to talk to a person to get the right price, if we didnt pay attention to the receipt, we just wouldve been overcharged. The breakfast and the bar were both overpriced and underwhelming in flavor. This is in a great walkable location, right on the water and close to a few noce sightseeing spots. It was a bit of a pain to get around since it only had one bus line.

Absolutely adored my stay here. Literally the best possibly location in the city and the recent remodel is a massive success. Coming home at the end of the day to my room here was one of the best parts of my trip. Super clean, great staff, great house keeping, and very well designed rooms. I’ll absolutely be back and will again be booking another loft suite, it was like having your own sky apartment in one of Copenhagens charming original historic buildings.
