I had a very pleasant stay at the Good Morning City Copenhagen Hotel. The location is superb, being only minute away from the train station, and surrounded by plethora of different good restaurants within walking distance. There are also several convenience stores around. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. Always with a smile which felt welcoming. The rooms were good for the purpose, some wear and tear, but decent. Personally i didn't find the beds to be extremely comfortable to sleep in and the bathroom is just a tad on the smaller side - but in all - fairly good for its price. The breakfast was pretty decent, the usual continental offerings along with omelette, bacon etc. there were pancakes as well which were great! The hotel has a decent outdoor area as well, perfect for sunny days with a coffee. Also the little touches of personalized greeting on the bathroom mirror was lovely.

It's a nice boutique hotel. Buffet breakfast is provided. It is not an air conditioned hotel but nevertheless the rooms are cold even in summer but if it gets a little warm, you can keep your windows open or get a fan by asking the reception whom are always helpful. Cool breeze always. No 24 hour in room dining but the hotel is located at an area where food is not scarce.

We had a large family room with a double, single and bunk beds in it . It had a table and two chairs . It was large with shelf space and a mirror on the corridor wall. The bathroom was very small and the shower in à triangle at the end . I couldn’t reach the soap dispenser in there and told Reception in the morning. À maintenance man moved it lower down for me. That’s service . |The hotel is straight up from the main station , so very convenient with shops and food in there and also restaurants near . |In the hotel breakfast area there is free coffee, got water and fruit in cold water . |For breakfast you wait to be taken to a table . It’s very busy and compact, but there are hot and cold items with dietary requirements catered for. You could use the breakfast area tables in the evening as well .

Staff is polite, breakfast is good and has all the basics you need. Hotel is long overdue for a proper renovation. There is no AC in rooms, no basic facilities like fridge, kettle, etc. Location is great, a minute from central train station and 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

Basic small rooms but fully functional . Reviews wrote they found stains mold in bathroom: i didn't. It was clean , however I know it's an old building and some of the rooms have a draining issue (which can flood the bathroom). A bathroom reconstruction is scheduled for December 2026. Sheets were clean. Comfortable bed. No air condition (avoid hot summer days). Some rooms facing the inner quiet court , some rooms face the busy street. Luck I guess. Internet : Ruckus Unleashed R510 access points provide very unstable WiFi experience, especially in VoIP. Measured max 11Mbps (symmetrical) near the router. Buy yourself a large eSim instead. Breakfast is good.

Unfortunately, my stay was quite disappointing. The room I was given was in poor condition and did not meet my expectations at all. What bothered me even more was the room allocation. The hostel did not appear to be busy, yet I was placed in one of the rooms furthest away. I was left with the strong impression that this was simply because I had booked through Booking.com rather than directly with the property. Guests who book through third-party platforms should not feel like they are being treated as lower-priority customers. Regardless of where the reservation is made, everyone should receive the same level of service and consideration. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with both the room and the way my booking was handled. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

If you book early this hotel is incredible value for location. The rooms aren't fancy but they're clean and include all the things you need while not being cramped. The breakfast is solid and was well worth it (esp given what an expensive food city Copenhagen can be).
