Response from the property
Dear Brian, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent family holiday. We appreciate your honest review, as it helps us identify the areas where we can improve our guest experience. We are glad to hear that you found our location to be highly convenient for your stay in Cusco and that you enjoyed a decent breakfast experience. However, we sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you encountered regarding street noise and the intermittent issues with the hot water. Due to our colonial structure and central location, street noise can sometimes be a challenge, but we are actively looking into solutions to improve soundproofing. Additionally, our maintenance team has been notified about the hot water consistency to ensure it is addressed immediately. We appreciate your constructive comments and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your family back in the future to provide a much more comfortable stay. Sincerely, Hotel San Agustín Internacional

Dear Ivan, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your review and for awarding us a perfect five-star rating! We are delighted to hear that you had a wonderful experience at Hotel San Agustín Internacional. We are pleased to know that you appreciated the quality of our rooms. Moreover, we are glad that our early breakfast service was helpful for your travel plans; we know how important it is to start the day with plenty of energy before heading out to the incredible tours and archeological sites Cusco has to offer. It would be an absolute pleasure to welcome you back on your next visit to the Imperial City. Safe travels! Sincerely, Hotel San Agustín Internacional
For a quick bite, Pizza Restaurant San Agustín is just 27 meters away on the same street. Inti Raymi Restaurant on San Agustín and La estancia on Calle Arequipa are both within a short stroll. For something more upscale, Manka on San Agustín serves modern Peruvian cuisine. You can also try local spots like Chicharronería Restaurant El Rey or El Samaritano Restaurant for traditional dishes. The hotel itself has El Arcangel restaurant and a bar if you prefer to stay in.
You're right in the heart of Cusco's historic center, just two blocks from Plaza de Armas. The hotel sits on Maruri Street, a quiet lane lined with shops, pharmacies and banks. Within a short walk you reach Qorikancha in 2 minutes, the Twelve Angled Stone in 4, and the cathedral and San Blas in 5 minutes each. San Pedro market and the Sapantiana Aqueduct are a 10-minute stroll for local life. The cobblestone streets are packed with colonial architecture, small museums and artisan shops, so most sights are on your doorstep without needing transport.
From Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport, the hotel is about a 20-minute car ride. You can take a taxi or arrange a transfer. From Wanchaq Train Station, which is about 1.1 km away, it's a pleasant 15-minute walk through the historic center, or you can hop in a short taxi. The hotel sits on Maruri Street, just two blocks from Plaza de Armas. Look for the stone-walled colonial building.
After dark, you can relax at the hotel's bar with a cocktail. For a short stroll, Plaza de Armas is 5 minutes away, and the San Blas district, also 5 minutes on foot, has a lively mix of cafes and bars. Try Jack's Cafe & Bar or Cicciolina Café for a drink, and Deva Restaurant Tipico is right near the hotel for dinner. The Twelve Angled Stone and Qorikancha are just minutes away if you want to see them lit up, though they're sights rather than evening venues.
San Agustin Internacional is an excellent base for exploring Cusco's historic center on foot. The Qorikancha is a 2-minute walk away, the Twelve Angled Stone is 4 minutes, and the Cusco Cathedral and Plaza de Armas are both 5 minutes from the hotel. You can easily stroll to Templo del San Blas in 5 minutes and reach the Sapantiana Aqueduct or Mercado Central de San Pedro in 10 minutes. For a scenic viewpoint, Mirador desde el Cristo Blanco is a 13-minute walk, placing most key sights within a short stroll.
