The location cannot be beat and the room was fully renovated and comfortable. The breakfast was simple, but lots of fresh fruit and great coffee. No complaints other than watch for random low ceilings if you are over 6 feet tall. The wifi could be better, but that seemed to be a theme throughout Cusco.

The hotel is located about 15min walk to the main square of Cusco. Its facilities seems nice and modern. Its room size was okay and clean.|However, the bathroom was small and its bathtub was dangerous for someone with foot injury to shower. Instead of a shower area, our bathroom had a bathtub which had a highly uneven floor. We have to be very careful when we shower to avoid falling.|Definitely not a 4-star hotel!

We had a great stay at Taypikala for 1 night. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable. It was a bit noisy in the morning, but nothing too disruptive. Breakfast was decent, good enough to start the day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the best part was definitely the location, super close to everything.

Nice hotel with warm staff. The room was comfortable and it had a very unique feeling. My only complaint is that the bathroom door has an issue whereby, if you close the door, it will seal shut. I had to ask for help to open it and the staff did it immediately, but it happened again and I needed to use a card to open it. Besides that, would highly recommend this comfortable hotel.

Was greeted at the train station by a porter sent by the hotel. He transported our bags to the hotel. Check was friendly, quick and efficient. Room was good, but not perfect. There was a window above the door to the hallway. It allowed light in at night from the hallway so room not dark at night. It also did not provide a sense of privacy. Easy to paint over...hint hint. Breakfast starts at 5. A nice variety to fill you up before Machu Picchu. Very good. Check out is at 9 am which is strange. However they will keep your bags while you hike and deliver them to the train station for your departure. Overall a good stay.

Every staffs are polite and very helpful. Need a bit walk to the center but it's in a small alley so it's quiet. Breakfast is good. Room is clean and beautiful. I would recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at Taypikala Hotel Cusco. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location for exploring Cusco. What made our experience especially memorable was the kindness and support from the staff. My husband experienced altitude sickness during our stay, and Katy at the front desk was incredibly caring, patient, and helpful. We are also very grateful to Mac, the bellboy, for his kindness and assistance. Their compassion and professionalism made us feel truly cared for during a difficult moment. We highly recommend this hotel and truly appreciate the amazing hospitality from the whole team!
