I stayed at this hotel in February 2024, and it was absolutely amazing I couldn’t get over the experience. I would love to return again and again Throughout 2025 and even this year 2026, I’ve been trying to find a way to book the same hotel but I haven’t been able to find any method—whether through the website or any apps like Booking or others So is there any issue? How can I book an apartment in the Sonder Downtown towers?

In August with low prices it’s indeed value for money appartment. Room was clean, but location not the most convenient if visiting by a car - need to get used to Dubai twists and turns. But it’s not an apart hotel, they have a small shop downstairs that is open till 2 pm where you can buy all grocery n basic hygiene items. they provide basic stuff at room like towels , toilet papers, coffee pods and soap. Rest you need to arrange. Overall good value for money but slow service to what ever they provide.

The rooms were fine, the reception employees were not helpful at all. Our arrival was earlier than the check in time and we spoke with them through phone before we arrive that we need the apartment a bit early but when we arrived they told us they are still cleaning it and they will give us at 4pm the apartment and they didn’t even try to help us and they were not polite. They refused to take the insurance amount by cash and they told us they will only block the amount if we used our card but they immediately withdrew the amount. Also when we booked it was written that pay is upon arrival but they took it before our arrival by long time. The service was too slow when we ask them to provide us something like: tissues and slippers which by the way was not provided until we asked them to and received them after long wait. Also the hair dryer that was provided was so dirty and sticky i couldn’t use it as it’s sticking in my hand. In addition, they don’t provide any amenities in the bathroom like toothbrush and other products like usual. Also the apartment doesn’t have cleaning services it is chargeable also when we asked to clean they told us there is no cleaning services right now. Also the parking entrance and exit is very tight which makes it hard for us to enter and exit.

Closed!!! After just a few days, we were asked to leave the apartment because Sonder had contractual issues with Marriott and the building was shut down on very short notice. Within 24 hours, my family, including a toddler and elderly members, had to find a new place to stay during peak season. The reception only offered shabby alternatives in Bur Dubai or Sharjah. Luckily, I booked through Airbnb and got a full refund – many other guests were not so lucky. It was a shocking and unforgettable experience. The stay started so well: a huge 3-bedroom apartment on the 31st floor with amazing views. It’s a shame this dream was abruptly ruined. Otherwise a wonderful property to stay. Shame on the contractual issues of sonder and Marriott and messing up with the guests.

We were a family of 10 staying for 7 nights (from 18th to 25th October) across a 3BHK and a 2BHK apartment. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the city. The apartments were neat, clean, and very well managed. It’s a self-service setup, but there’s a convenience store right downstairs for all your essentials, which was really helpful. From one of our apartments, we had a stunning view of the Burj Khalifa — truly marvelous! City Walk is just about 100 meters away, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Overall, we had a phenomenal experience and would highly recommend it for families or groups visiting Dubai.

We booked a 3 bedroom suite and it was nice. The 3rd bedroom is a twin bed in a very small room (more like a closet) but it did have its own bathroom which was nice. The staff were hard to deal with and on multiple occasions we had to wait 1-2 days for items like toilet paper or extra towels. It’s in a nice location that is close to many shops and restaurants. The parking lot is small and the exit onto the road is very tight. If you have a large vehicle, I would not recommend driving into the lot as you may not be able to get out of the lot. We saw cars scrape the side of the wall trying to make the very tight corner turn.

The hotel was very nice, spacious and clean. The washer/dryer in one was not the best. It took a long time for the clothes to dry and it was a little confusing. The location had beautiful views off of two balconies, but not many walking paths. Because of the traffic there weren't a lot of places that were nearby that you could actually walk to. The staff was friendly and helpful. It had a full kitchen which was nice.

We spent 2 months at Sonder Downtown, while doing renovations at home, and we couldn’t be happier with the decision of staying there. Everything was perfect but the highlight of our time at Sonder Downtown was the staff. We felt at home from the first minute we step inside the building for check in. Absolutely everyone treated us like family. And the apartments are great for a long stay. Everything is provided, including nice details like filtered water in the kitchen to avoid having to use plastic bottles. 100% recommended!
