Extremely disappointing and absolutely not worth the money. I chose this hotel specifically because I wanted a proper spa experience — pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. I’d been back-to-back with work/travel and was prepared to pay around £450 for one night, plus the extra cost of getting there from town, because I genuinely thought the facilities would make it worthwhile. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of money. The hot tub was broken, the pool was unavailable to hotel guests because of a children’s swimming class, and even in the sauna i could hear screaming children. When the class eventually finished and I finally got into the pool, I was then told I had to wear a swimming cap which seemed ridiculous given it had just been full of babies and toddlers. I honestly couldn’t believe it. I booked what I thought was a premium spa hotel, only to feel like I’d ended up at a children’s leisure centre. There was nothing relaxing about the experience. Even brunch, although the food was good, came with poor service, my coffee arrived 5–10 minutes after my food. For nearly £500, plus the additional travel costs, I expected a completely different standard of experience. Instead, I left feeling more stressed than when I arrived. Had I known the pool would be restricted, the hot tub would be broken and the leisure facilities would be dominated by children’s swimming sessions, I would never have booked this hotel. Really disappointing. I definitely won’t be staying again.

Outstanding anniversary stay – staff made it truly special|We stayed at the Hilton Kilmainham in Dublin on a Saturday for our one-year anniversary, and it was a really lovely experience overall.|From the moment you walk in, there’s a beautiful fragrance throughout the hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything we needed was there.|The staff were absolutely outstanding – genuinely 11 out of 10. The guys at reception were super helpful and friendly. They helped me organise a lovely surprise for my partner with balloons, chocolates and red wine. The hotel also left us a little dessert plate with “congratulations” written in chocolate. All the small details were thought through perfectly and made the stay feel really special.|We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The traditional fish and chips were excellent. Unfortunately the steak was quite chewy and not great. When we mentioned it to a gentleman in a suit (I believe he was a manager), his response was just “Was it chewy? Oh ok” – very flat, no smile, and quite different from the rest of the team. In contrast, all the restaurant staff were brilliant – polite, warm and always smiling. Special mention to our waitress Chloe, a lovely French girl who was fantastic.|We also used the pool and jacuzzi, which were clean and really nice. Breakfast the next morning was excellent – great choice of food and again the breakfast team were so friendly and helpful.|The hotel car park is very convenient and easy to access.|Overall the staff (apart from that one manager interaction) made our anniversary stay feel really special and outstanding. We would happily return and highly recommend the Hilton Kilmainham, especially if you’re celebrating something.

We have stayed at many hotels around the world, but this was our first experience with Hilton, and it exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Sabina at the front desk, who kindly gave us a free room upgrade and decorated our room with balloons and chocolates for my wife's birthday. It is the little things that make a stay truly special, and Sabina went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The room was fantastic, very clean, comfortable, and had a great view. The breakfast was good, and the pool area was also very nice and relaxing. The only downside for us was the distance from the city centre. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be booking Hilton hotels more often in the future. Thank you again, Sabina, for your excellent service and for making my wife's birthday extra special! Kind regards, Kevin & Sabrina

I have just returned from another fabulous stay at one of my favourite hotels in all the Hilton group.Its location and amenities are superb but above all else it would be difficult to ever come across such amazing staff in absolutely every department and all from so many different countries. On arrival I always find the front desk staff to be so welcoming and friendly especially Maria and Luis but the standout man for me is Philippe from Brazil . What a friendly way he has with all the arriving guests making everyone feel so welcome and always knowing my name on my return trips and just so good at his job as are all reception staff. The high standard of bedrooms have to be experienced to understand how comfortable and spacious they are with housekeeping quality as good as I see anywhere in my travels and rooms also offering beautiful views . Also the rooms that have balconies are a joy to behold as they are also so spacious. I also love the pool and gym sauna and steam room as very few hotels in Dublin offer that nowadays and the staff here are so lovely. As for the food in this hotel it is top class. Breakfast is excellent with a huge variety both on the buffet and to order but for me here it was the five star treatment by this team of outstanding staff. Their welcome and extremely friendly attitude really impressed me as they simply couldn’t do enough for everyone and continuously checking to make sure we were ok. Well done to Meyling from Costa Rica and Dana from Korea.Mayara from Brazil and Azael from Spain and Murillo from Brazil. I couldn’t give you all enough praise as you are so good at what you do. I hope that Hilton know how lucky they are to have such wonderful staff throughout the whole hotel. Well done to you all and continued success to everyone at this amazing hotel. Stayed for 2 nights with my daughter and little granddaughter as we were visiting the zoo and had a great time. Very friendly and welcoming staff on front desk on arrival. And the wee welcome box the girl gave my granddaughter went down a treat. Room was spotless, and we loved the floor to ceiling windows making it very bright and spacious. Buffet breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from. All staff we spoke to were very helpful and friendly. But I have to give the guy on front desk at checkout a special mention, (I didn't get his name, but I'm sure It wouldn't be too difficult to find out who he was) he was one of the loveliest guys I've ever met, he even gave my granddaughter a little gift which she absolutely adores! We will definitely be back next year to hopefully stay a little bit longer.

We had an outstanding stay at Hilton Dublin Kilmainham. To be frank, we originally booked just one night for my birthday, but we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it for another night! The rooms were spotless, beautifully presented, and very comfortable. We stayed in both the King Room with a View and the King Room with a Balcony, and both were excellent. The view from the King Room with a View was particularly lovely. We travelled with our dog, and the hotel made her feel so welcome with a thoughtful treat bag. Our daughter was also delighted to receive a colouring activity bag, which was such a nice touch. These little gestures made our family feel genuinely welcomed. The hotel also has a great swimming pool and an excellent gym, which added even more to our experience. A special mention to Filipe at reception, who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable stay, and we would happily return. Highly recommended!

My stay at the Hilton was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was treated like a superstar by Mr. Phil Young, Felipe, and the entire team. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made the experience unforgettable. The food was amazing. My dog was also made to feel incredibly welcome, which meant so much to me and really showed the care and attention the staff give to every guest. The room was stunning, comfortable, spotless, and finished to a very high standard. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the incredible staff. Every single person I encountered went above and beyond to make my stay special. A truly first class experience from start to finish. I cannot wait to return.
