Right at the hotel, the Buffet Restaurant Grand, Beach Restaurant Plaža, Tavern Marijin Dvorac, and Restaurant Lapad on the promenade serve local and Mediterranean dishes, with Aperitif Bar Natalie, Pool Bar Velvet, and Beach Bar Plaža for drinks. Just outside, the Lapad promenade and nearby shopping area have more cafes and restaurants. For a change of scene, the Old Town is a short bus ride away, where you'll find plenty of dining options. The hotel's own restaurants are a convenient choice after a day of sightseeing.
The Grand Hotel Park sits on the Lapad peninsula, a relaxed residential part of Dubrovnik about 3 km from the Old Town. The Lapad Cove promenade and pebble beach start right at the hotel, with a shopping centre and tennis courts close by. For food, the hotel's own Beach Restaurant Plaža, Tavern Marijin Dvorac and Restaurant Lapad line the waterfront, and the promenade is dotted with cafe bars. It's a green, low-key area with a hospital, newsstand and ATM within easy reach. The Old Town's walls and forts are a short bus ride away.
Dubrovnik Airport is about 22 km from the hotel, roughly 25 minutes by car or taxi. A direct Platanus shuttle bus runs from the airport to the main bus station, Autobusni kolodvor, which is close to the hotel. From there, the hotel is on the Lapad peninsula, about 100 metres from a local bus stop with frequent buses into town. You can also pre-book a private transfer for a direct door-to-door ride. The hotel's address is Mata Vodopića 2, near the Lapad promenade.
In the evening, the hotel's Aperitif Bar Natalie and Tavern Marijin Dvorac offer drinks and Mediterranean dining right on site. Step outside to the Lapad Cove promenade, about 150 metres away, where restaurants and cafés line the seafront, and the Beach Restaurant Plaža sits by the pebble beach. The Old Town with its fortresses and harbour is about 3 kilometres off, so a short bus or taxi ride gets you there for a late stroll or dinner. The promenade itself is a pleasant place to walk after sunset.
Grand Hotel Park is a comfortable base on the Lapad peninsula, yet the Old Town sights are 3 km or more away. Lovrjenac Fortress, Dubrovnik West Harbour, Bokar Tower, Pile Gate, and Minčeta are all roughly 3.0 to 3.2 km from the hotel, while Rector's Palace is 3.5 km. Frequent buses from the stop 100 metres away connect you easily to those sights. Within a short walk, you have a 150-metre beach and the promenade. For day trips farther afield, tours to Montenegro, Mostar, and Kravice depart from the city, and the bus stop keeps the Old Town within reach. It works well if you enjoy a quieter base with simple access to the historic core.
